Val, dont agree with the conman but I do think all the PR RNS' makes the share seem a little 'tacky' tbh. It would be better to say nothing and leave it to others to report investor events and only RNS contractual progress etc... I suspect Cathal cant sit on his hands and is struggling with the new found role a little... :)

the mix between cruises, travel, older people and a certain virus is, I suspect going to create some real headwinds for this share given news reports on that subject..

the only thing i can say with any certainty about my (large) investment in this share is that as long as Cathal stays proactive and on the board as exec Chair I will continue to hold. He understands the importance of keeping retail investors on side and in the loop that is for sure... ,

The dividend is covered by cash balance not revenue / earnings actually the cover is actually -0.081 so at least but facts out there.... my point stands and i suggest you research properly before you claim to have an insight...

try posting something relevent to MCRO from this year... the landscape has changed a lot since Oct 2019. The new Chair has the perfect excuse to review the Divi which, afterall would be part of the strategic review.

nuri.... not that i want to spoil the party but with debt levels of £4.4bn and revenues falling like a stone the fundamental question for the market is how the debt is to be serviced ? Suspect Divi will be suspended next. Nice to see a bounce but i suspect it may be a dead cat one hence a very small position for me.

moniman... you had better sell then. If there is one thing that has been crystal clear from Cathal all along is the fact that Orph will not be a pharma company but a clinical services company. He has said that numerous times and sees no benefit taking the risk of drug development which needs massive funding and was the undoing of HVO.. Listen to the interviews and it cannot be put more plainly... they will not seek to develop Flu V alone or in partnership with anyone else. Simple really ...

I agree wholeheartedly with that sentiment Moniman...Cathal shouldnt be the only Director to show faith an that is my only concern now with this aquisition..

yep,, there will be a fundraise for sure, however it won't be one with any meaningful discounts (or warrants) as the reality here is that it presents the perfect (and rare) opportunity for large de-risked institutional investment... the test of patience begins and i am more than happy to sit it out :)

duke, the sad reality here is that most punters think there are trading BTC itself on this share, without any regard to the companies fundamental value. So we are left drifting up and down on whimiscal currents. Soon be time for fundamentals to win out but alas, not soon enough for a lot of punters in this share... :)

yep.. algos have day to day control on this share outside of big gold price movements or company news..It seems to trade close to the spot price movements but i am comfortable with that as the downside is limited in that case...

about time this started to move outside of the spot price range. It had a close correlation last year to the spot price up to 252p but although it fell back alongside gold till novemebr it over shot the down side IMO ... last time we were at this price (apart from one instance) the gold price was 1350 at the time.. I see this undershotting again and in my veiw it should be trading in 2012-2018p range now ..... i am bullish but DYOR

don't disagree Wisheye .. however that said, not many of them types had as much skin in the game as Cathal and it is a huge thing to take part in raises as he does to align with PIs. nothing is without risk but this ticks my boxes and has done for months. GLA

it is trading on a PE of 12.6 which isnt cheap per se' however with a 6% project yield and upside potential on company earnings (never mind gold spot price) it is my second largest holding..

Auson, TBH i have no idea why it is algo traded all the time. Perhaps the predictability of the relationship with spot gold price makes it a simple enough arrangement to remotely trade the margins but that is a guess on my part. I think your right about the short position reducing and i suspect it will reduce further should the world banks continue to reduce rates and the dollar weakens... Ive built up a substantial holding here and, as a producer i see it as a paying hedge.. :)

moniman... he has been quite clear from the outset that he considers the company a service company not a pharma and i see no reason for him to change his clear strategy by commiting capex with imutex. If he did i would sell out in an instant. He is looking to exit by year end anyway and that is a case of do up cheap and sell to a biger player... Simple and profitable with min risk .
