there was a time back when I was pulling in the shares on my second account adding shares at 7p+ and happy with before it tanked to the lower 6s and i thought - what have i done.... . then again at 12-14p (Dai2belts was also adding at this point) and the sp dropped to 11s and again - same story...

then 22p and 18p now..

it was my wife's first share acquisition - took me a while to convince her to buy into HE1, it was Lululemon she wanted (which is also not bad a price at the moment). But growth wise, she will get 30% at best from Lulu at current sp, in contrast she will get that in less than a months with HE1 or 10 times that by Sept.... easy decision in the end.

i have never tried that. will check, cant recall seeing that option on the app although there was an app update earlier in the week or late last week (mainly on Alert - e.g price level vs price change). before this alert option was only available on the laptop, not the app. but you are asking something different I assume.

a bit late opening my IG app but then saw the price.... should have let us know a flash Friday sale was on. My dry powder is empty after US stock sales yesterday evening, but my wife bought some - 77,400 shares in 2 tranches.

Mr ST - i ran out of juice after the red days ( i call it heavy discount shopping days) on the US stock yesterday and before, so had to rebalance some (UK) stocks this morning to buy into HE1 - it will need rebalance back at some point as I have quite a lot of HE1 shares (but it never feels enough! damn it). saying that, I don't have much UK stocks left to rebalance anymore now.
SIPP - oh my word. Been told its Friday now to start process. I am having to tell myself its ok to buy HE1 shares for £1 once drilling success declared with the SIPP. 20p sounds so good in contrast.

I recall a chat with the uni bods in 2016/17 about He prospecting in Tanzania (I wont say who) but it went in one ear and out the other (how wrong was I then. I could have moved in and set up my own "HE1" but never mind.

After some frantic research to see whats happening with AAOG / Sarah following your post - the open letter from Richard Jennings is an eye opener, I can see where you are coming from. what a mess. but she is chair of AAOG and she has a very thin (3 total) and poor board composition (ex consultant and an analyst), rather different than HE1. but I know city folks are vampires, particularly once the blood letting starts..
Seeing HE1's board composition and her likely role in HE1's board, vs her role and board team at AAOG, I dont think she wont be a burden for HE1. but i see your view re AAOG - I would be up in arms too if i was a shareholder (I am not).

I wrote too soon, over a cup of tea I had a quick look at the board composition and likely roles for HE1. Looks ok - a good combo of oil finders (track record) + city folks (money, governance and compliance):

Sarah Cope - city slicker, governance and compliance. less deal making role.
Robin B - connection to Cannacord. Africa centric
J. Smith - senior Oil finder (prospector)
Ian S - oilmen with track record. chairman to keep DM focused. Deal making, structure, strategy.
DM - CEO (we all like him).
