I still think GoI can do a deal know & then re coup the monies from GoR with interest starting in about 2 yrs when apartly the mine will be up and running.....

Anyone like to have a stab at a value on WA assets...circa £9 mill??

Listening to that interview ( the bit on west africa) did it sound like assets might get sold & we get a special dividend?..or just a reflection in the sp?

As you say agrees with 1.2 bill..but I sort of take that as a starting figure?

Hints in might go to arbitration but maybe when the other side see how strong our case is ( maybe deal an ace or two)..a settlement might be forth coming?

@ Gall..do you think really that's an acceptable offer...or you would prefer a quick gain to move on.

Look at the value of the asset....obviously we all have our own strategy...so does MB and I have yet to hear/see/read..anything like $150 mil will do.

However I am more enlined with Pk & as I said the other day, any early settlement should start with at least a 5.

TBH I reckon when/if the NoA drops, in theory ( figure or no figure attached) the sp should hit the 30p's plus anyway. So anybody wanting to offload for a 6 bagger or so shouldn't have a problem..

I think Gall some if not most of the lth here will be wanting more than that.

All comms as you know past & present indicate the return for share holders should be far in excess of 30 odd pence...however it wouldn't be a disaster ...I would have thought something with a £ in front not P behind it is expected

Whatever figure for early settlement, don't forget, lcm cut..plus 4.6% for partner in India..so I reckon 150 mil is too light by far

Hence why I am still hopefully of early settlement...given the figures bashed about yesterday I would have thought ( wild guess) any figure accepted would at least start with a 5 and that in £ too.

The only thing I can think off for a delay ..if the early settlement is off the table..and now they have some hard figures to work with , they want to issue the NoA with a final figure attached to it..

Well for me Monday feels like a very good time for accepting at bank transfer from the GoI for a good few hundred mill. They can fine the GoR & get the money back into the Government coffers with interest. Apparently the cash is going to come rolling in , in about 2 yrs.

Or we deliver NoA.

Time is up IMHO.

To add.. if you can sell 2 million in one hit..is a sign ( to a novice) ..happy days!..

I reckon the 2million shares was either from previous cash raise at 5p I think..or somebody from the latest cash raise & hoped for a very quick profit .....

I think one of the posters about silly timescales was me..I did think I posted an explanation.

I read a post where somebody had said ' MB wanted it done one way or another by June this year'...meaning either, or, early settlement done & dusted or down the road of arbritation.

I think UK took it I was implying all done and dusted.

As Gall says 3yrs is my timescale.

And looking at recent events the June timescale mentioned way back looks about right.

The accumulated interest on the claim might be a surprise Brucy Bonus!

The Reko diq award I mentioned a couple of days ago, $6 billion..if I recall correctly $1.3 billion was interest.
