As to what Qube are up to, heaven only knows - upsides vs downsides makes their increase yesterday unfathomable.

Just to be clear here, Eleva have not gone, they have merely reduced their position to under 0.5% - looks like 0.44% at the moment but any movement downwards thereafter will not be reported. In all likelihood they will look to shed the 0.44% over the next few days so further large trades may appear. What is significant is the share price whilst all this has been going on.

Fair enough Reardon but why Umar then? Either way, stuff will be sold to reduce debt - we will all watch it play out in the coming weeks and months and I will hold my position in the meantime - I am holding around 33.6 so no great downside that I can see with shorts reducing. Others need a big old hike though so good luck y'all

This together with Umar back in suggests to me a sale of Debenhams, Karen Millen and some of those other old clothes brands and a return to core yoof online brands only. They gotta pay that loan back somehow.

Maybe they were trying to fix the short position graph and obviously failed.

Short Info has been corrected - hurrah

It would be nice if the operators of this site could get round to correcting the Short Position Page for Boo - the only thing that is correct is the graph. Ho hum.

Only short positions over 0.5% are declared - currently 4.

This is not to say there are not short positions under this figure either increasing or decreasing.

The FCA publishes a daily update on its website on an XL spreadsheet but there are 2 tabs - one for the over 0.5% and one for historic positions which makes interesting reading e.g. GLG went from 0.58 on 15/05/24 down to 0.49 on 16/05/24. Only if they pop back over the 0.5 would there be a further entry. So what we don't know is whether they sit there at 0.49% or whether they have reduced further or no longer have a position. No one opening a position under 0.5% would also be disclosed Thus it is hard to state the actual total short situation. Do let me know if anyone has further insight on this.

Qube actually have increased short position from 0.89 to 0.9 with effect 28/08/24 - someone with fat thumbs somewhere

Anyone remember that Trading4Good character? Here's a copy of a post from back in the day. I wonder if they are still doing ok? This share was 40p in January 2016 - over 8 years ago!

This was undervalued yesterday and fair value today is probably yesterday's price so well worth a dip imho
