I bought this share at 898 sold at 1149. Thinking I could buy it back cheaper. I regret it. Bought more at 1290. There not joking when they say never sell shell. Just not worth selling for less that £20 per share. Well done to those that kept the faith and were not greedy!

Once a share has a big drop it takes a few days to stabilise before it goes up. Use james Fisher as an example. This may not be the floor it may still have a few steep falls.
I would sell this share before it goes ex div though.

I made a 2k investment the other day at 8.97 (I know)!
And am just praying this doesn't end like metro bank.
It went from £20 to pennies. I dont like catching a falling knife. But shell is an established worldwide super brand with substantial sales and fingers in many pies. Shares may fall but the company will still be here in 10 years time.
And the more it falls the more other oil companies will consider launching a takeover bid.

What makes me paranoid is why directors are not buying.
Surely the vaccine is the key to a turnaround. And that should be by q2 next year ?

I'm not worried bought a small amount at 897 yesterday. 223 shares I think. Us election will be the turning point and shares will rally especially if Biden wins. I'm down around 1k in my portfolio but it's only a loss If i sell. In a years time we will wonder why we didn't buy more shares at these prices. However rds is releasing results tommorow. I think they will be within expectations. Slight dividend cut. But think long term dont think 2020. 2020 is the year to buy. 2022 will be the year to sell.

I really really want this share. But based on the environment we are in I want it for 400p or less. I need Santa to grant my xmas wish

Bought these a few months back at 270 then sold them for 301 around divided date. Worth buying at 250! And 250 is coming soon!
