Just visited the shell page. They are predicting £20 in 2021. Everyone goes insane during the holidays!!

In 2021 we would be lucky to get to 400p. All depends on the price of oil which no one can predict. Especially in this environment. 475p may be possible in 2022. But it's a big ask in 2021

I should have waited before buying into this. Reports of a fall in this share today due to the new covid strain. Could end the day around 360p. Dont get why this should fall though as the majority of its business is in asia.

I can see this in the £5 to £6 range next year as they reinstate the dividend but not £8. £8 is possible in 2023.
The share should grow as the dividend grows and as the asian economy prospers. However I would rather buy HSBC shares than put my money in a 3 year bond paying 0.75%. I could very well double my investment in 3 years.

Used my dividend to buy hsbc shares at £3.91. Not sure why I did that but seemed like a good idea at the time.

Considering buying more on Friday if it remains under 395p. Got dividends from BP coming in. Good idea? Bad idea ? Let's see what the average price is on Friday. If they announce a no deal may even get these for 350p. Who knows

Unsure what is happening with brexit but there will be some kind of short term impact on sp if there is no deal.
However in the long term it will rally higher as the £ will drop thereby increasing dividend payouts which are dollar denominated.

Oil will need to hit $70 a barrel for BP to hit £4. That's a long shot in the short term. But possible over the next 12 months.

If you dont need the money. Sit tight. This should be back up to those levels by 2022. And possibly higher by 2023.

In my opinion Brexit and oil prices are holding this back should be 294p by now but is not. Maybe that just gives us more time to buy ?? But I guarantee you that by this time next year we will average 400p. The prices today will be a fantasy and we will be kicking ourselves for not buying more when we had the chance.

This will drop to 500p average after this goes ex dividend.
