I too expect some significant after-trading deals to be announced ... but none so far ....

It's good Knigelk can post here honestly without being accused of de-ramping. I got a bit of stick recently for talking down a share to the extent few believed I had any shares ... you can do nicely on the AIM because of its volatility and we're all probably here because having our money tied up in slow moving blue chip companies doesn't suit our agendas. IMTK use up nearly all their turnover in operating expenses meaning they have to keep on going to the market for more money. IMTK IS more firm that it was a few weeks ago so it's "spike and slide" behaviour is diminishing ... PHRM DOES appear to be firming and I reckon it's people getting in early IN CASE it does take off ...assuming it's not going to slip easily back down to 3pISH

I'm in for about a 2 grand punt that the China figures with at the very least cause a blip I can do OK out of or show some promise for the future .. however, it's lifting baseline, moving away from a lack of activity at rock bottom is encouraging and shows some confidence in the stock but, we'll see soon won't we!

Yes .. that's why I bought in ... its base line value, to which it might return after spikes is rising so even if you get a spike wrong, in the long run you should be safe ... I can see why daytraders will like this but also see longer term sense in the share. I don't see that in a few AIM shares ...

Good points. I had to choose between getting in here expecting a spike after the China RNS or topping up on IMTK which I bought into too high. I went for this. With such smal market Caps on the AIM, an RNS can trigger quite extreme movements but you have to be quick, look at past peaks and the slides down to base value afterwards but get to know an AIM share and you can earn well from it. is bad, I can see this working well. PHRM has moved to where the action is and even getting a small part of a growing Chinese market is perhaps worth more than even success in the UK. From such a small base, doubling the SP a few times isn't hard to envisage ..

sells on purpose or by accident? It would have the effect of encouraging selling wouldn't it? As far as the RNS on the China results is concerned, most RNS come out just before the market opens as far as I have noticed but don't hold me to that. I bought in anticipating another big spike even though I missed the others. Whilst this is unlikely to reach £37 again I think it's showing signs of awaking from its slumbers

GFRD is a relative oasis of calm, stable, conservative upward progress compared to many other shares I've looked at. I think it was Warren Buffet who said "better to buy into a well run company at a fair price than into a badly run one at a great price" GFRD looks like it has got an awful lot right.

bought in at 0800 at 4.37 and out at 4.63 about an hour later. If I'd hung around I'd have made more but I tend to take profit when it's there to be had. Don't want to sell at a loss or have shares going sideways. I pay £5 per trade. Share rose 14.71% in the first hour a week last monday.

got in. Luckily called it right. It went up 14.71% in an hour! mowtowntommy is right. DYOR. i'd never heard of STY but the news broke, I had a punt and was lucky. screwed up next day on BDEV. Good results released wave of profit taking! ho hum. Lot of rubbish written on here, probably by me too!

It wasn't 19,500 shares. It seems it was 1,500 worth someone or a fault in the system had put through multiple times by accident. According to livecharts 13 deals of 1,500 shares each went through at 0850am but volumes all say just 1,500

Not by me though. I suppose the combination of everything mentioned below (all googleable) Gazprom lowering their prices, the super dairy plans, the positive noises about the kvass ... I suppose the main thing is get your feet under the table before the news breaks that EU and Ukraine have lifted even more trade barriers. Ukraine's strategic position means that, if it's smart, it can play Russia and the EU off against each other meaning Russia will end "the cheese war" wanting to keep Ukraine close rather than have it slowly edge towards the EU fold ... we are approaching a world where the emerging new markets make it hard for entities like the EU to say "if you want to do business with us you must do this, you must do that" since producers have China, the Pacific Rim, Brazil ... there are millions of people about to become middle class all over the world who will see cheese as a daily source of protein. This won't happen in a few hours so I only suggest buy but the sooner you get into this market, probably, the better.

Went through yesterday and it was a buy. Since the SP has been flat for over three weeks I suppose we can assume those holding the shares are not selling so this share is a short and day trade free zone for the time being. If anyone wanted get in at the bottom of a trend, I'd say it should be pretty much today. This share risen sharply in the past and there will be those still keeping an eye on it ...
