Could the institutional investors not be trying to prop up and save the millions they have already invested?

It does seem as if SuperShark has an unhealthy fixation with this share. I'm not even sure he or she owns any shares in PHRM. He raises some good points but then again so do lawyers that lose their cases.

Well, I reckon we now know the sale of 1 share is not code for an impending RNS. I'm out of this share now but still watching it. If I'd sold today I wouldn't have got more than yesterday and that money is now invested elsewhere. Questions ... if the China update is going to be such a boost, where is the rush to buy? If the fear the begging bowl is about to come out, where's the rush to sell? What are the chances of each of these factors cancelling each other out perfectly? The fact PHRM has been unable to find a territory in which it seems to be welcome is worrying but for the day trader, who cares? If you can buy in at a low price and get out when wet behind the ears newbies drive up the price, it's still profit.

I sold at 13.06. After looking at subsequent sales, I'm happy with that for today. It looks like it might be slipping again but I doubt it'll tank.

Yip. A profit is a profit and I've become the kind of bloke who takes it when I see it if I'm not sure something's going to progress and I CAN buy in again .... as you said ... but I hope you all do well.

but, on balance, I still reckon this has a few more spikes left in it. GLA ... there's a lot of negativity surrounding this share though .... mind you, with Lamont on the board, I should have been more re-assured ... I'll keep an eye on it though. If I jumped too soon and you all go on to make fortunes, it's my loss. GLA

according to livecharts BUT MMs putting the price up. There don't appear to be any takers as yet .... so have the MMs been tipped off a "positive RNS" will be coming out soon and they should get as many shares in as possible as cheap as possible to preparing for the buying frenzy the RNS will feed? I was just offered 12.8 for my shares ....

Re: the delivery .. leave it on the vegetable patch please by the marrows. I'm entering them in the village produce show. They should be massive by the time you've finished with them.

yet no sales to indicate why unless it's another big buy we'll learn about after hours ..... so, the MMs do little but sell for 2 days, the selling price stays firm at 12.50 then they up the buy price to 13.25 ... all this means ... they knew they could move shares out at more than 12.50 ... let's see how many takers there are at 13.25 and how many buys done earlier get posted now ....

I'm not really sure I get what your point is. Nothing you mention seems to me to be exclusive to PHRM. Most companies on the AIM are quick to release any RNS they think will make them look good and couch anything negative in the kind of language that doesn't ring alarm bells. All I'm bothered about, since I only came into PHRM as a short-term punt is being in at a price that makes sense before another spike comes along during which I will get out. One assumes the "China Data" RNS will create that spike and one might also presume it'll come before the begging bowl comes out. Is all that so illogical?

about Norman Lamont. There are loads of companies run like PHRM. What companies on the AIM do you approve of SuperShark?

I'm not sure any of us are that precious about what's going on in a company. We're just buying in at what we hope are pre-spike prices so we can get out higher. I'm not convinced much else on the AIM is run any better than PHRM though the fact Normaq Lamont is on the board is genuinely comforting ....

What announcement re: funding? The price isn't rising. It's holding firm despite sustained selling. This can mean there is "steam" to come out of the share as people who bought in too high either fear the share will rise no further sell at a loss or people who bought in low take profits. It IS a mystery investors still buy into this but that can be said of many shares on the AIM and how many people buy into this in the long term? Like any other share with frequent troughs and spikes in the share price, it will have its uses. Unfortunately, PHRM doesn't seem to have found a territory on the planet yet where it thrives and it will soon run out of planet!!

Good question. Smoke and mirrors? Filling a large order? Normally the price drops to a level that either provokes a selling frenzy or makes people decide it's more sensible to hang on ... I've been reading it as a sign of "resilience" and quite simply, the MMs must think they can sell these shares on at a profit. Everything is worth what you can get for it!

repeating what I said yesterday, MMs stubbornly paying 12.5 minimum to sellers suggests they think they'll be able to sell on at a profit and supply demand created by China update though this share's track record suggests you should get out before cash calls or bad RNS news appears

will be announced after trading. Lots of sells yet the price isn't dropping. MMs must have buyers at a good deal more than 0.125 ... quite some resilience at this price ...

YES ... that IS an issue with PHRM and it can't help them. Trimming their costs and setting money aside as savings would make them more popular but the rising trend in the sp seems quite established at the moment, albeit only over the period of a few weeks

Why did you think it was a sell johnhorb?

trading ... went through at 15.55hrs apparently ... someone obviously has faith in PHRM. Sale price was 12.50. We'll see what tomorrow brings ...
