The estimated completion date for Covidity is December 2022 on clinicaltrials.gov so I'm prepared to only get news after that. Do you think we will get data/news before then?

I can only see an update in August 21 and one on November 20. The August 21 RNS has no figures in it though. There may be more information in another RNS under a different title.

I'm not to sure about that. This is from the RNS in November 20 - "SRA737 was licensed by CPF to Sierra in September 2016 for up to $328.5 million in developmental, regulatory and commercial milestones, plus royalties on the net sales of any product successfully developed. Sareum was eligible to receive 27.5% of the economics equating to up to $88 million in milestone payments, plus sales royalties, as SRA737 advances".

It was in the interim results on the 26th January. Under the Covidity section it just said that recruitment was slow due to covid infections.

"What do big Pharma really think of us?" I like that question and would love to know the answer!
In the end though it's the data that will get them to part with their money. Thankfully, that is now being generated.

Roses - I am very much aware of this. Covidity is opportunistic for Scancell and may I say, a side play? It attracted a different type of investor to Scancell and now investing in Covid treatment/prevention is not really so big any more. Scancell's core focus of immunotherapy for cancer is now very much the driver again, as it should be for them.

Imagine if you read somewhere that mAbsolve had licensed their technology to Scancell for combine with their Glymab antibodies but Scancell had not put out a RNS. Yeah, you'd probably accuse Scancell of all sorts of incompetence. mAbsolve are going to put the news on their website and Scancell have a duty to let investors know. That is why the RNS came out today.

I think the drop in SP from from the 20p area is firstly due to a loss of interest in Covid plays and secondly to the general state of the markets. We started moving out of the 20's exactly as Government announced masks were no longer required indoors and laid out their plan to open up the economy in January. I don't think investors are punishing Scancell because of their commercial decisions at the moment.

I think if all Scancell's products were pre-clinical then there may have been room for financing concerns. However with three products currently in P1/2 trials, they will have the data available to secure lucrative deals before the cash runs out.

You do realise that SRA737 has been trialled in humans? There would also have to be a RNS if the BOD were accumulating shares. And lastly, the value of everyone's shares remained the same after consolidation.

Well Lazarus, you mentioned not needing a chart to see the agenda being played - so although the cap doesn't fit, I assumed it was me as I brought up the charts.
I did not mean to bring any negatively either. I merely stated the where I thought the SP would end up without any news. I also said I use these levels to accumulate and to ease my fears. I never once mentioned a stop loss as I do not use them for shares (although I wish I'd had one in March!).
I also think it's natural for negativity to arrive at the same time. It's usually when the SP is sliding, somebody posts their concerns and those with similar fears suddenly feel safe to post. They will also defend their position because they are losing money and are frustrated. Let them rant, it all stops after a good RNS.
