Everyone’s getting very excited about the permit. Firstly and personally I think there’s little to worry about. But managing expectations, the permit award historically hasn’t really been caused fireworks on the price. Maybe this year will be different m, who knows. I’m in it for the result unless…rest doesn’t interest me tbh. And a positive result with oil up over 90 would go a long way to making up for history.

You're talking about production and EPS from ongoing operations. Value here will be driven by asset sale value...which in a success case will be 100's of millions if not billions in a success / multiple success case which would look more like 6-7-8p...or 12-15-20p per share.

And before someone jumps in wrt to NPRA or state land - if there was a challenge by the Federal authorities that control the NPRA they wouldn't have even let it get to the public busybody conjecture stage, it would have been cut down by now. Last year Biden had only been in for a few weeks and there was a challenge to the win so guessing his administration was dealing with issues without much preparation. This year has a number of differences. Including the US need to do what it can to support an economy that has received a number of challenges over the past few years.
