Just posted that Trak will be attending this - end of April - so Trak still think they will be around post FY25. Obvs, I hope this minor news is a signal of strong H2 cash flow.

I was thinking about YE - end of March - and Allenby's forecast - how the hell are Trak going to meet that (£1.8m PBT) - unless good things are happening - but shouldn't they annouce - given they said they cannot give guidance - all too confusing.

Can't help wonder if we are suffering confirmation bias but that was a good find. As we have all been saying - we need a good TU.

Yes, the noise on the ground sounds positive, and no emergency RNS with more CLN/dilution so that's also great. Ironic that the news of the contract (and subsequent lack of it) caused the share price to go down such that the news of the contract is probably the only real way for it to recover to that price (unless insurance has become super hot)

Agreed, I thought the reaction to that Samsara sales guy was pretty rapid and wondered about whether this is read. However, the official number is 243,000 and they have always tended to stick to what they officially state in the TU so I am still not convinced the number is accruate.

Yep, this is crazy - a new CLN with a renegotiation to a lower price for existing CLNs would appear very underhand. The last CLN included a half a million software purchase so would appear completely reckless - as they could have just kept the cash for a rainy day. Joe, mass promotion of the old job and other positive stuff (a good review from a Bravo Utilities - can't actually find it but it is on x) seem to suggest things are ok on the ground - so maybe they do get more cash inwards in H2 - fingers crossed.

Trak just appears to go from one disaster to another - the software contract being one of them - hard to even comprehend why they thought it was a good idea to annouce. Fingers crossed they annouce before year end.

For us it is a question of cash flow. Very difficult to see why they have not already hit the buffers (ok, they have the 'unused' overdraft). One assumes cash must be coming in (Blondamon used to say H2 was better than H1 - although the business has changed since their day).

I think Joe is a good barometer of the business - while he may not know it a board level, he is senior and sees the sales pipeline and successes of.

Given that the claim is Samsara is a multi-billion dollar company then they really should just make an offer to buy Trak (just for the revenue). As for customers, I wonder if Sainsbury's had some concern but were reassured by ML. No clue.

While the statement itself may be true (at least in general) I can't believe a company like Samsara would stoop so low.....it tells you something about their ethics.

That forced investment (I guess Freedom contract signing on condition of purchase) - doesn't seem to have delivered. It may not have been forced and maybe Trak have grand ideas for the product they purchased.
