Yep all roads pointing to Rome Scotty - I have two break even positions in the teens and one just over 1.20 which will enhance a good call to have invested at 1.075. IAG needs the winds to be blowing the right direction for its true underling value to equate to its sp. Oct Q3 results should assist....

Every day I read these conversations which start out objectively and are informative then slowly descend into chaotic chat which boils down to a debate about who's co^k is biggest. AC777 if indeed you bought the dip, admit it was luck....

Yep concur - IAG is fundamentally a good business and the streamline process going on at the moment will mean SP appreciation as from Q3 results - traders are f*&cking around with it at the moment and the low £ has encourage US meddling - witness yesterday. 1.30 next month - at least.....

IAG transforming itself as we speak into a slicker operation - fewer but fuller flights. Q3 results will be excellent and future booking look solid. 1.30 by Nov on the cards....

Predicting slow increase in sp growth through Sept with growth rate increasing in Oct because Oct 28th results will obviously be very good.

Since May this year Ive made £10k trading IAG. This number will have increased by Oct/Nov so totally agree with comments below sharing the post Summer Holiday sentiment. Also agree the hedging position IAG have taken has cost investors a little bit but its not fair to blame management for that. As to the more convoluted comments below - do fall into the trap of over analyzing the travel industry - the impact of inflation for example will not be as detrimental as some make out - the impact is nebulous. Todays SP recovery is a good example.
