The markets have been paralyzed all day. The news arrives 6pm meaning tomorrow morning will be mayhem or BAU....but then comes the BoE interest rate rise.... Ive sold half my IAG holdings at a 1p loss per share... This SP is the antithesis of logic. Do wonder where AC is sitting on this - suspect he is sitting it out which makes a lot of sense...

Conceptually it sounds exciting but in this climate?.... IAG should pay down debt.

and others on this board went lower - 70p seemed to be the consensus at one point. In any event AC continues to be right about this SP recovery. It's not backed by the big boys and therefore continues to be vulnerable. Quick trades is the name of the game for now.

Wrong closing price I note but same result. well done D9Ber - an acceptance speech in order…

D9Ber9 came in with 1.15 and Scotty 1.17. The SP of course finished at 1.1560

Applying the usual up/down rounding rules, todays winner is D9Ber1 and second closest was Scotty. Well done both but real glory comes close of play Monday…

Suspect following a brief pop,there will be a significant sell trend- there are plenty of in and out punters in this SP.

It’s was my mistake - predictions were supposed to be close of play Q3 so Friday. But yes - fair enough I think as some may have applied some maths (however imperfect) to get to their number. Therefore winners will be both days ie correct on the 28th and then 31st. All things equal - 31st gets the crown.

Looking at the afternoon SP rise of Barclays and post close LBG trades - its looking good for the morning...

SP dip tomorrow once again chaps - shorts are in play - recovery of sorts later - this SP will settle at 1.16....
