I agree with brom and spinefx just scrolled to earlier posts to catch up on previous comments... imho I feel the HRZ has a good chance of flowing the upper section with a well strategic placed horizontal drill ... I feel a deal will be made to go through the conventional and tap into the upper HRZ which I believe when I last talked to Paul Basinski in 2017 was 200 ft thick spreading evenly across most of the 475000 acerage we will have money from FO to appraise and derail further the HRZ upon then another FO (hopefully a total buyout price will be done) with Yukon to help us in between or continue as another separate company as a producer with royalties and divvy? Dave’s magic figure in his Q&A way back was $85 dollars as well with other ducks lined up would Intice him to stay and produce plz re read old Q and A 2016/2017 interviews it was a rare but short but brief answer... may never happen but why would he mentioned it??? Just my thoughts dazzle

Newanda 13:48 ... good post... people forget ( hindsight being a wonderful thing) that Dave and Paul had to tread carefully with the drilling of the HRZ which brought up the unexpected but favourable data ... the lower gassy HRZ when connected to the top half we now know affected the pressure on iw2 drill.. why artificial lift didn’t work/ as affective if now that we know the top half has kerogene type 2 hydrocarbons ... remember the rns when they discovered the HRZ was connected to both top and bottom... we can now look back and say oh yeah of course just plug the connected hole and just refrack if any the top half ... it cost money to buy the right amount of strategy acerage and then to do 3D modern inversion then buy up Yukon leases them more 3D inversion buy up a few more little acerages on the check board Otto/ 88e then do a bit of winx1 on the side.... it ain’t easy but I trust Dave hindsight is a wonderful thing as it brings out all the arm chair experts ( after the facts ) never before unless you have a magic wand or crystal ball at hand...nothing is 100% guaranteed in life and nothing ever runs along a nice smooth line as we would like ... some people need to suck it up and grow some... there is a good chance of derisking or top slicing in a month or two to at least let us sleep better at nights until the bigger payoff in a year or 2.. There are better stable shares to trade on than 88e.. but this is a one of a kind big pay day (not with out its risks) and I’m willing to invest and research as much as I’m comfortable with losing if it goes belly up ... too many on here whinging over nothing like cry babies and yes there are the psycho trolls who occasionally like to annoy us but hey we know better than them don’t we... our patience will be rewarded soon Dave will make this a transformational year for us ...

Spot on Alet....uncertainty/risk has its price and that is reflected in our intrinsic valuation at this stage of our development. $10/bbl perhaps for proven (PDP & PUD) reserves. Maybe more. However, OSH paid between $3.10 and $1.30 for contingent resource. We have none of that, as yet. We only have prospective resource/targets/leads. The discussion underway at the moment between 88e and a prospective bidder for our conventional farm-in is seeking to price that. It will be a fraction of the OSH rate for contingent resource. Of course, any successful drilling activity leads to a reclassification of our resource/reserves and hence an uprating of our intrinsic value. As such, a staged farm-in may deliver more value to shareholders (in success scenario) than an "all-in" one at this stage. I suspect that this may also be a significant point being negotiated. Dazzle: something to think about when considering Dave wall negotiations on our behalf.. I’m hoping for news next week leading up to the AGM. Imho

Beekeeper as Dave wall previously mentioned in the Q&A’s a lot of us wont be around for the final curtain sell as most would of bailed out long before... each of us have their own psychological sell out price based on risk to reward, and as you have mentioned in you post that as certain amount of people got spooked by winx and have lost their risk Appetite to continue with a longer term view and instead have chosen a short term sell out, if and when the sp hits over 2p to 2.5p for most of us ( if you haven’t been savvy or brave enough to average down to a lower price that is) If you generally compare a buyout as is mentioned in DR Stephen Staley previous company cove energy you will see a incremental time line from roughly 2p to over £2 at different stages of proving up reserves to increasing value with bids and offers being proposed Accordingly with each stage.. my point being if you only take a short term view say up to 20p which is great for some but for longer term value it was still relevant .. maybe an incremental selling strategy to compliment a longer term view would increase the rewards accordingly.. Now the dust and panic has settled we can ALL hopefully move on from winx and concentrate on the other 95% ( Yukon being 90 million bb may be 4% of our investment comparing to winkx ) we have an increase to 2.2bn Barrels of conventional oil Which is huge and a break even price of below $40 and falling we have a profit of $26 so far oil could go up and breakeven could go down further increasing our chances that has to be one of the cases in our deck of cards that Dave is holding tight to his chest In my opinion if any of the oil majors hold out for longer knowing that the Saudis and OPEC plus are willing to do all it takes to get there $85 average back up if I was in a while major and the chances have increased I will be doing a deal ASAP at the lowest low price possible in This current climate Remember we as 88e Along with Bex won’t be cutting the checks or paying the bills as it is too large for us to fund so this farmout is very crucial and important for all of us just my thoughts Dazzle

Moda and v111jas you guys are doing a great job with the links.. it’s been very heartfelt of late on both sides of the world in LSE and HC .. a lot of people have literally put their life savings or family silver into this 88e oil narrative ... Good to see a lot of support from everyday folk concerned for others at least to reach out and connect when someone has fallen.. Investing and trading is a tough game and not for everybody and their is only one Warren buffet in town we can’t all be winners all the time and have to learn from experience the losses as well as the gains in investing.... Let’s show some support on here and help those who have fallen do our bit for humanity and at least gain some compassion at least once in our lives over profit... Dazzle

Had the pleasure of talking to the legend that is Paul Basinski whom mentioned the history of prudhoe bay it was originally before the anrak meteorite hit it 90 bn barrels of oil after it was 30bn of which roughly half has been recovered... icewine actually fueled Prudhoe 40% equating to 35bn barrels of oil.... Somehow Icewine is as pb described it “ akind to flowing like normal oil” even though it’s a super shale so the oil in my opinion is flowing just that we have to tap into it and hope for commercial success... Conventional oil it’s at the moment two 2.2 billion gross to 88e just on 25% of icewine ( alpha not included) .. Then we have winx1 and Yukon gold... with potential double that of horseshoe at 240’ pay zone/s as well as an extra 300’ at the torok which we know the majors are taking a second look at as well as buying acerage around the west side of winx1... If I was a newbie I would invest now with much more better prospects than we had 2 year ago...imho... and I see lots of regulars topping up or trading free carries to help average down.. We have an Exceptional 88e wiki research websit unlike anything I’ve seen before or likely to after 88e is long gone and bought out.. Make the most of it and just filter the clowns on here and listen to those who have a genuine voice.. Torok target Red Emperor said that the well had encountered the Torok at a depth of 4,913 feet and had penetrated a second- ary target in the Torok at a depth of 6,052 feet. That target consisted of “topset sequence 4 sandstones.” Well penetration of the Torok target resulted in elevated levels of mud gas, associated with oil shows and an elevated resistivity response from logging while drilling. The planned wireline logging program will evaluate the potential of the Torok target as well as the Nanushuk. Otto Energy said that the logging should take about 10 days to complete. Depending on the results of the logging, the part- ners in the drilling project will decide whether “to proceed to stimulate and test the most prospective of the Nanushuk primary targets,” the March 4 88 Energy release said. SO WE KNOW THE TOROK STARTS FROM 4913 AND ENDS AT 6850 AND THE SECONDRY TARGET BEGINS AT 6050 TO 6800 THERE ARE 2 POTENTIAL TARGETS AS WELL AS TOROK PLAYS ON ICEWINE.. In nanushuk and torok which was extended by another 400’ from 6400’ to 6800’ the top of torok was 6050’ so potentially multiple oil plays with in 750’ of the torok which repsol has taken another look at whilst also buying up adjoining acerage on the west side of winx1... the nanushuk is X2 that of the horseshoe find... my god can we dare dream that we can get winx bought out to fund Yukon and icewine and possibly dare I say it sharebuy back ;-) Best regards dazzle

More than likely from 7am onwards as it would be unfair for 88e To trade on aim today.. this will give 88e 4 days to find and go over some more Additional data and analysis, including from wireline logging and potentially production testing will be required to provide more definitive results. Not sure on the production testing stage yet but defo from wireline logging for hydrocarbon shows..

Highlights: Winx-1 o Surface casing has been run to ~2,500', as planned o Drilling of intermediate section scheduled to commence week beginning 25th February Western Leases - Winx-1 Exploration Well The Winx-1 exploration well was drilled to ~2,500' on the 20th February (AK time), as scheduled, and casing has been run successfully. The forward plan includes cementing of casing in place; a mandatory test of the blow out preventer system, drilling out cement into the 8.5" hole and performing a formation integrity test. Post these activities, drilling will commence in the intermediate section of the well, where the primary Nanushuk target formation will be intersected. Rns from 26 th feb with surface casing run and cemented successfully. The State supervised inspection of the Blow Out Preventer system was completed on the 24th Logging while drilling tools on the bottom hole assembly, combined with mud gas ratios and cuttings analysis, will provide initial insight into any potential hydrocarbon bearing intervals encountered during the drilling of the intermediate section. Additional data and analysis, including from wireline logging and potentially production testing will be required to provide more definitive results.

Started drilling on the 15th by the 20th they hit 2500’. commenced drilling on Monday 25th 2640’ so by my calculations 500’ per day x 4 days 25th to 28th feb = 2000 + 2640 = 4640.. 140’ into or over the nanushuk which was targeted at 4500’ ... fingers crossed we hit oil shows Best regards Dazzle
