NYSE ended with an ascending candle chart pattern which is bullish and a bit of buying volume at the end of the day looks promising for a strong new support of breakout if breached around $13.81.. on the ftse the last 3 days in a row for UT buys. As for the naysayers and doubters like GG.. at least i stuck my neck out and called the big drop from £13 on the 18 july due to the nyse gap/windows from 8th and 10th july need to be filled…from a TA candle perspective there has been a double top formation “M” pattern which is bearish due to it not breaching the £13 resistance.. what will tomorrow DEC figures reveal? I think the market has factored in most of it to be honest if its slightly less then expect an over reaction of sp to £10 area, if same or better than expected would a fair sp rerate upwards be deserved.

You would think the shorts would of increased their positions a hell of a Lot more from £13 down to £11 over the last few weeks then close their positions and buy the sp back cheaper?

Will Peel Hunt pounce on this with a bigger BB purchase? Saying that with every BB will make Blackrock % increase if they hold their position. Imho

Just checked DEC gap opening down this morning to the low of £10.59, which if the USA follow today on there opening it may fill the 5th high of $13.69. Saying that there are lots of gaps across the ftse and NYSE shares with many factors involved bringing their sp down the FED not cutting the % rates down enough could be part of it as the old saying goes when america sneezes the UK gets a cold. Could be an opportunity for some as there is a roughly a 27p gap to be filled, the sp could go lower later today as the first two hours of trading is volatile depends if people are panic Selling, will see how buyers do later today

Almost near the NYSE 10t july 2nd gap $14.51 (£11.31), will we see a fat finger close it or more sp falling next week? The 1st gap was on the 8th july opening higher from the 5th july high of $13.69 (£10.63) i am hoping for a fat finger and buyers will jump in at these levels unless some sneaky news isnt as good for the 7th august DEC 3rd QT financials.

Like you said the TA charting is just a guide/sign post along the candlestick journey.. i recommend watching steve nison on you tube who in the 1980’s translated the Japanese candlestick philosophy into English and he went on to teach the major banks in America from him. Everyone else copied the formula as you see on YouTube today by many other TA enthusiast.

Thanks jim, you just proved my point. I take it your in the red and loosing money here, hence the passive aggressive tone. As for the shorting DEC unless your one of them we will never know fully or understand their logic. 70p old money will see a reduce shorter holding when reached imho…what ever was leading before or after that fundamentally caught the shorters eye. Maybe its just the snowball effect tatic fxxk knows. I know you cant borrow shares for shorting from nominee accounts, from what i have read and posted by other investors.. i. Personally would like to see the short borrowing of shares banned..another angle to consider are we going the same route as gamestop?

Keep your true colours showing … your ego has to have the last put down… and for whats its worth i have mentioned the gaps before the 5th and 10th july ones on the NYSE on different occasions which got filled back check my posting history, made a few quid and lowered my avg.. from £1.05 to 57p now in profit…i may not be warren buffet, but i am more glad i’m not you..no doubt your ego will get hurt and you can’t help your self to post more put downs, the need to sound right than admit your tone was wrong…

For peace of mind for this board, this is my last reply to you, as i would rather fellow investors keep focused on DEC than read mindless egoic rants…i wish you well jim800 in your endeavours with DEC .

Like i mentioned before i am not to sure if the FTSE follows the NYSE or the other way round but there are two more gaps potentially to be filled on the NYSE from $-£ £11.22 and £10.59 equivalent. One or both may get filled back but it seems 60p gap between them respectively is a fair chunk of change to just throw around willy nilly.

Had a quick look at the new and old resistances and supports for a new channel and it looks roughly between £12 & £13. any more TA chartists out there worth giving it a finer shot to fine tune this feel free. I still stand by the old 70p range where shorters will reduce their positions somewhat as that support/resistance holds a psychological marker somewhat. Imho

If black rock are selling then WHO is buying? Just a matter of watching the watchers and see when the % threshold gets crossed.

Forgot to mention to check out the financial statement due in early August for the second quarter ending in June 2024. They should give a good indicator where DEC is heading and if Rusty is keeping to his word.

Having a quick look on the charts i see around £13.50 £13.10 resistance floor/channel could be psychological the traders or just a hurdle for USA investors based on UT trades I’ve last week and a bit as they’re buying into the growth story. There is two gaps to fill in the New York Stock Exchange charts around the fifth and 10th of July but this could be a blip in the bigger ocean. Could see a fat finger take these two out maybe a dragonfly emoji candle pattern in the near future.

Cant remember if it was mentioned in a RNS or interview recently but DEC did say the hedges are for 2025 and 2026 over $3 & $4 respectively. Not sure how they make the difference in profit but it was also mentioned that the TAX bracket was different out side of the hedge ( from what i could tell it may be slightly higher, eating away at profit margins) anything above $3 is a bonus for DEC and exrtra £££ in the coffers to pay off more debt and divys..

They were very weighted with there arranged finances of paying of debt and paying what seemed to the market to much in dividends.using non-core assets to pay a chunk of the debt January gone was a good move in the right direction ( i am sure they will do this again as their new acquisition in texas hold 170,000 acres of which by what rusty he'd mentioned recently in his interview, would be sold off to the highest bidder as non-core assset to pay off more debt?..

Looking at the financials in the LSE icon section DEC fundamentals i see earnings as a significant part to play than FCF …

Maybe better accountant types can give their view on things…

I think you are both right, ironic that DEC had to go to the FTSE UK for listing back in 2017 as the USA didn't accommodate what it needed, now it looks like the big guns like what they see with DEC. With another 465k buy after 4:35pm and yesterday looks like the money is going overseas somewhat or maybe a bigger gun private hedge fund/s are biting the DEC apple. Managed to get back in 20p above where i sold out the other day still in profit just 50 shares less than i had..trading is all about timing and most times its never spot on what you want… kudos to those who have made a few quid-over the last week or two..is it time to see the new re rate support breaking…first 5min of trading was a bit of a fat finger opening lower to £11.61, you have to be on the ball getting in that low… as the price is trading n moving all over the place on the opening. Hold tight

Since friday the 5th july, that which i could use the trade icon to see the weekly buying/selling. What is very surprising and i have to say has caught me out on my trade (hands up) that apart from last monday, all days ending around 4;53pm on UT were all over 500k. Me thinks going buy the interview with rusty the other day on directors talk, the USA has notched up a gear since going on the Russell 2000. Something is afoot for sure..
