Not selfish at all, referendum held and the people spoke. End of, although i note your ability with stating figures accurately. I have spent over 10 years planning a retirement in the sun (south france area) as you guessed i voted out, despite knowing that should the good people of this country vote out those plans could be ruined. I voted for what i considered best for my country as a whole, not for me as an individual, and id do exactly the same again. Unfortunately some people cannot accept the democratic result and move on, the bitterness that some people hold over the result is a shame and a big drag on the eventual deal that will be negotiated, which can only worsen whatever is agreed on both sides. To get the best deal people must work together, its a good job your not involved in that with your well displayed selfish negative outlook.

Hope your right mate, seems to have lost momentum for the moment, up one day then down the next. Got a little used to the continual climb of recent weeks.

Welcome mate. Eventual close of 13.90 was pretty much mid way from the days high & low give or take a little so not really highlighting a problem IMHO just a little wobble. We have had a stellar rise afterall. If it finished at the days low id be more bothered - dont think either of us will be making our weekend predictions though.

In fairness its been due a bit of a pause for a while now, hopefully this will be it and normal service will be resumed tomorrow or early next week.

Im going to sit tight for a while i think, cant see any bargains out there at the moment, but who knows, looking forward to the next disaster opportunity.

Still very much a novice with the day trading Riolto, seeing a paper loss of almost £9k on my GLEN at the moment and thats the only one i was going to daytrade with. Will have to add them to my longer term portfolio. Am doing much better with the longer term hold ones. Noticed your TW over the £2 today, looking good.

I think we'll have a little drop tomorrow. BA and EZJ are in the same sector but different types of market and customer type. i think EZJ will dip a little on a knee jerk type reaction following the media coverage but no real long lasting damage. Just left my mates place after a bbq, he's Ceo of a large IT company specialsing in high value corporate systems, and he is 100% certain BA are being economical with the truth in blaming a power fault. He got very techie with me (i.e. Over my head) but basically says that companies of this size would have servers set up in such a way that data is duplicated real time over several different systems and platforms to cover for issues of hardware software and power failure, virtual servers i think he called them, which would have multiple levels of resilience and be safe from the type of incident they are blaming. Basically a problem with one, switch automatically and repeat till running. He cannot understand why they are still struggling several days later. More to this IT failure than meets the eye.

I managed a sneaky log on first thing this morning at work and saw it was down around 10p and thought that was the direction we were going in today, i feel it does need a bit of a pause. Got home after work and looked again and woohoo it had gone the other way. As you say an excellent rise again this week 11% is some increase. BP is deffo a little stuck at the moment but i think todays performance was ok given the opec extensions and the current oil price, need the oil price to rise back over 55 dollars before i recon the share price will increase much, good for the divis though. Im amazed Riolto, just keeps going up and up. Not complaining and i know the drop to the bottom was stupendous, but this is some serious fightback. I thought she'd climb a little this week but more slowly and take a bit of a pause after the post results jump up, how wrong am i.

The option to change water suppliers for commercial customers is called Open Water, BIG pain in my working day to manover around the restrictive legislation. Goverment had plans to open it to domestic customers in a few years, but industry talk is they wont be for some time, to busy with brexit. It will come though, my guess 2023-4, then my work life will be too painfull to bear. Problem with high value water shares is at the end of each amp price setting period the companys all "rebase" their dividends, in other words cut them back. Take a look at historical divis paid. In effect this leads to a lower yield as the price of the share generally keeps climbing but each 5 years the divi drops back a fair bit to start its RPI inflation busting headline climb back up again to where it already was.

Your spot on there riolto, investing is always about the timings, i hold 1163 x SVT at a buy price of £8.20 ish from years ago - am beginning to get jittery now they are approaching £26, for no reason i can think of, and thats my industry. Would value your opinion on that sector? However i was down over £10k on EZJ at one time, now im up £13k, timings again. Sometimes patience is required, sometimes a box of tissues, but ultimately its the individual investors choices that count. i think all sectors are a bit high at the moment, so am sitting on my wallet waiting for something cheap to come along, things just cant keep going up - although i think EZJ will for a good while yet.
