Today, happy to notice that the close price was a lot closer to the days high than it has been recently, been quite frustrating watching a decent daily high price retreat each day. Will take this sort of performance each day very happily. Just seen Rya carried 10% more passengers this month compared to the same last year, sounds good (for them), bit of a reversal coming up though next time lol.

Errr, no. you couldn't be further from the truth. Company is run on a knife edge shoestring, few remaining operational staff morale is awful at best and the core business plants are falling to bits (excepting Viridor sites). Major investment needed here im afraid.

Time for the boss to source a few 'spare' planes and pop them on Rya's cancelled routes and ride to the rescue. Would buy a load of great pr, and raise ezy profile in a positive way with the CAA. I deal directly with the Regulators in my industry, those people are always appreciative when the overseen go the extra mile, makes their lives easier and they make more favourable decisions. For the more clued up than me. How would ezy 'take over' a landing slot on a Rya airport? Am assuming Rya have a contact for x slots at x time, what are the consequences of Rya not upholding their end of the deal - can the airport punatively withdraw the slots and 'sell' them to others? Etc

Seems that the CAA are taking interest in Ryans failure to divert its dumped customers to rival airlines flights, might give Ezj a bit of a lift.

Hear that Rya have cancelled the flights from newquay for a few months over the summer?, caught the tail end of a radio broadcast on Pirate on the way home, they are in a serious mess, i suspect they'll have to offer their remaining pilots a flippin good revision of t&c's to shore up the ship.
