watching it myself, couldnt see it making any difference tbh. Still no sign of the 'training' plane circling my house practising landings, not seen that for some weeks now it's still out earning its keep, which is great.

People want/need cheap just look at Lidl etc. Agree about the boss leaving, they need some sort of plan for that, but with senior staff moving on theres normally some succession planning been done in the background, wil have to wait and see on that front.

So we have for decades sucked out zillions of gallons of oil out of the earth, are we all living on a big void fillled malteser or does something fill the void created?

Personally, i think this electric cars stuff is a bit of a myth. I could easily buy a posh electric car now - i wont because none do what i need them to do, many of my friends are the same. Some of my friends simply cant afford them (or any new car for that matter) so petrol/diesel cars will be around for a long time yet. People need cheap transport, look around and see how many bangers are around in your neighbourhood, then see how many new cars are around (mostly on hp etc), people in the new cars, whichare in the minority in my area, MIGHT buy an electric vehicle if it suits their lifestyle/needs, but probably won't. I drive a heavily loaded work van with no electric equivalent to replace it. Privately i drive a campervan, also nothing about to replace it. Particularly on my summer drive down to the south of Spain, which no electric vehicle can possible travel in one two of even three charges.

And so the slow drift down continues, any ideas anyone?

Have found the details of the visit you had from my colleague last time, not a lot of info on there, but have asked him to call me to have a chat and see if he recalls much else.

Certainly has dropped a bit this last week, down around £1.40 in total, which i have to say shocks me, id got £15 in mind after the results were announced, especially when the european base was sorted as well. Was planning on reducing my holding at that, looks like i'll be hanging on for a little longer. Loves a bit of volatility this share for sure.

Some good points there Misca, The way i see it Oil's a part of everyday life! It's everywhere in one form or another and demand will increase with population growth, although in the more wealthy countries many people are beginning to write petrol/ diesel cars off, that, in reality is not going to happen for decades. High consumption in the west will be replaced by improvements in lifestyle in less developed/affluent parts of the world, while the rest of us slowly change our established habits over time. I think oil will be below 60 for some time, but the major producers will adapt to protect their margins which ultimately protect the great yields to be had. I've got over £300k in RDSB & BP all told and although a higher share price is always better, the dividends are worth a little patience.

Thats a great return nice one. Aiming at reducing my holding at the same £15 using this years CG allowance, my average is higher thou at £10.59. Hopefully not long to get there.
