never good to sell on a loss mate but on occassion, like Carillin, needs must, you made a good call there. Only a decision you can make as its your cash and we all trade differently with different expectations, attitude to risks and rewards, timescales etc. in my case im holding, but my pf is quite sizeable so its not such a bind to have to sit it out as its only a small chunk.

to easy to second guess choices though mate, never does you any good. i bought into ezj a good while back around £12 and they dropped and dropped, i averaged down, and they dropped, etc. In the end i was in for £50k, with a value some £16k less. I held on for a year or so and things reversed. Ultimately, i ended up with my £50k back, a £2.5k divi and 1076 shares (still held) on a free ride. Patience is sometimes needed i suppose im saying, and your right spread that risk a little unless you can wait things out.

ifonly. Yep me mate, 6.18 is my average, dont have as many as you though (1526) so will just sit it out for a bit, Not ideal having dead money not earning it keeps but hey ho its all part of the game sometimes.

My situations obviously different to most at the moment, riding the rises and dips is normally good here, but im definately going to reduce my holding (42k shares) as and when my figures allow, getting a little tiresome here watching it crawl upwards on good news only to slip away afterwards. Only good thing to me is the 'capital repayment' dividend not counting against the £2k divi allowance if they keep paying in that manner.

i dont think the Espew will give in either, they cannot see any wood for the trees with anything they deal with, big bunch of control freaks and bullies they are. my hope is that the UK government are having 'no tarriffs between usa/uk donald' talks behind the scenes, then on our independance day they both pop up and confirm it.

might also help insulate glen from any of Trumpies protectionist agenda if a large part of the company is usa based.

i have a buy order in place for £38ks worth at 5.50, think it may come down a little more next week so being greedy, but at this price area i think there is a lot of potential upside, whilst also being a divi hunters dream stock.

Am i scared? the answer is yeah im scared shi7less and trully terrified, but those emotions are locked away while i knock it for six. Have had some wonderful encouragement from lots of people i dont even know on here, its very humbling and i cant thank you all enough for the kind words. NHS people have been absolutely fantastic as always and super speedy, cant ask for more mate i really cant, odds are well in my favour and i aint going nowhere. . . .
