these sorts of multi juristiction subpeona/sanctions/legal wranglings etc etc take a long time to unravel, and inevitably a compromise is made somewhere behind closed doors so both sides can save face. Markets always knee jerk react with this sort of news, although its been pretty clear for some time with the drc issues that Glens not worth what it was when the risks there were factored in. IMHO 480 is a distant pipe dream for future years. Question im asking myself is - Is trumpy realy going to want to take Glens cobalt and copper out of the market, so driving up prices at the start of this supposed battery revolution? I dont think so personally. Glen do seem to walk close to the edge though.

this morning, hopefully after the initial shock it'll crawl back upwards and recover a little over the day. Looks like the 480 prediction aint happening anytime soon chaps!

for a better day here today. Some nice rain over the weekend but the suns out shining again this morning so am off out for a stroll with the woof.

his comments on the oil prices surprise me tbh. With the US now self reliant and prices set in dollars it cant be hard for him to keep prices low in the US by ensuring they produce and use their own oil supply domestically. They dont need to buy from anywhere else now, so could simply add his favoured 'tariffs' to foreign oil and keep his prices cheaper internally giving him happy voters and stable cheaper prices. Obviously if the US keeps ramping up their production still further he could then export any excess at higher prices and win both ways.

Hopefully then he can spare a little thought for my long suffering portfolio and i'll send him a nice little thank you card as a token of my appreciation. :)

see Trumpie has opened his mouth moaning about oil prices. Apparantly asked Saudi to pump 2 millions more barrels and they have agreed. He posting it on his ****er feed. Thank a drop for my rdsb and bp on Monday then :(
