And retaining the other two "main men and BODS " too --I fully agree with your views and helpful info as always here,Spud .JW and team are working their socks off and have been doing so for 12 months or so.They are happy to invest and take rewards later when the Company can probably afford --good positive planning.We just cannot afford to lose any of them
There is a strange analogy here with the Chairman of an infamous airline from across the seas --he took very little reward in the early years of the company ...then look what happened !!

Seas ahead for gas supply in Feb when the beast returns.Whilst The diminution of Grogingen (apologies if spelt incorrect !) does not directly affect us all of the time it does indirectly because of the Interconnectors of course .
it just needs a hiccup from Quatar and say 3 weeks of the beast and following from an explosive RNS this month on the big issue then this week's doldrums will pale into insignificance and soon be forgotten ...BUT folks, this is a long term project with loads of LTH's .be ready for choppy seas ..we've been here twice before recently ..keep faith ..sleep well !

He was indeed -He may have made errors of Judgment re capital raising but in getting rid of the former useless BOD he had true vision and should be remembered for that .The great ship SS Infa was grounded and he allowed time for it to be repaired and laid the base for JW & Co to set us up for where we are now !

As a side and nothing really to do with Infa if there any of you out there interested in Flybe and the outrageous and miserable offer of 1p per share from the Bearded Wonder for the Company ( which admittedly is not in the best of health ) by analogy with Dana's vision it needs someone with his vision (and here money) to step in and oust the BOD and scupper the deal ,Good Companies can be badly managed and run into the ground like the crash landing of Flybe --we are all just so lucky with our BOD !! ...and Dana

Another timely and well constructed post,John -I love the throw in at the end about Sellers. It is probably very difficult for day traders at this moment when the price the next day is even higher and WILL continue to rise gently until the anticipated RNS. You and I have had frank discussions about being a LTH .If one really believes in a project like this stick with it through thick and thin -Yes,there will be troughs (compare with SXX,another great project but now needing very deep pockets !)

BUT in the longer term I have to quote fairly precisely from JW's Introduction to his "Key Themes" for the December meeting in London.One of these centered on his future vision for the Company and I quote :

" We want to move the Company from a Gas Storage site in Ireland to one with multiple Infrastructure Developments and companies under our umbrella to create a number of revenue generating schemes." Listen again to the Video !

So we must continue to be optimistic in the short term pending and following the next big RNS probably later this month/February.No problem with the share price then in the short term...but in the longer term,well.......this is a potential no brainer winner with this BOD.!!

I bought my first tranche in January 2010 ..total disaster after disaster ( remember Woodburn Forest !) until JW and his gang turn up and sort AP's mistakes out ( and that includes ridiculous cheap placings and dilutions) ...but just look where we are now ..roll on tomorrow !!

I don't think we need any Ministers to make us joyful --they seem such a useless lot in all respects ..I suppose we need just to still be nice to Junker and his lot in Brussels just to make sure that the Grant is not prejudiced !

About 10 years ago Infa then under a previous name of Portland Gas was tipped by the Sunday Times in December as one of it's Shares of the Year.
In 2018 no mention is made of Infa being so tipped again.No doubt the editor has missed a trick this time.So much much for our erstwhile expert pundits !!
