Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
A considered and well worked BUY .....IMHO of course !!!
Hi,folks again ..despite being a former "significant shareholder" and being in frequent contact with all 3 Directors I have never asked for nor been given any sensitive information prior to any announcement..My clear understanding though from the AGM is that delays to both E.U .funding and start of the Daera Consultation period are down to damn niggling bureaucratic nonsense and paper shuffling + possibly a delay as to start the process of the latter at this time would/could be seen as insensitive to others..no more no less.
IMHO though we need some clarity in the next 7 days as the year end targets are for sure now not attainable ..hold on tight !!
Hi folks .. Yes I am still very much invested here ..painfully like all of you but apart from the short term pessimism, until we have news flow and confirmation of e.u funding and FID for IM, the future is in the short term high risk for this otherwise beauty of an AIM tiddler.H&W increases the short term risk as we need some pre payments to now run the daily costs which are *****^**!! H&W puts a huge plus marker on the balance sheet...I have not sold and do not intend to cut losses but the next few days will be frustrating and .....quite frankly scary..hold on very tight !!
I have been looking up the list of bidders. Not sure about Spreadex at all ..maybe a spread betting operation ? BUT the likes of Lombard and certainly Crux certainly interests. One of their funds is Cruz TM Special Situations ..Wow..Infa sure is a "Special Situation"? Their Webby Site says
" The Fund identifies high quality businesses with a low level of debt, run by strong management teams, where the business has economic advantage and potential for high returns ".... Not sure about the level of debt ...and the site goes on " we manage only long-only investments and have a dedicated team of of investment professionals with decades of management experience between them" JW told me in the Autumn that he has vision for Infa to be a £50m Footsie 250 Company not an Aim Tiddler with several Energy Infrastructure projects progressing in tandem --need to get over the hurdles at IM and keep Crux happy with their bold choice --that is the Crux of the matter !!
I commend Droderik's posts as I have done before ..I refer you to his excellent script and summary on 9th December (November Milestones) ..Yes I am still invested here thought no longer of any significance !! Like you all suffering a sizeable loss but more than offset by Jadestone's recent rise.So no current issue for me.
I understand ( with no full firm evidence ) that there were two or more bidders for H&W ,one international and one a UK major blue chip player and a significant Plc. JW and team secured the deal from under their noses simply because they have immediate work for the residual workforce ..and concrete plans for the future.A Loss making Aim tiddler would not have been allowed anywhere near the table had he not been convincing -A masterstroke indeed. Please note that JW is very much aligned with us ..he too has a large holding and suffering a loss.I am not aware that he has been taking anything like a proper full salary for all his recent endeavours ..neither have Arun or Judith .JW has real form .He ran a shipbuilding enterprise in Australia; he has long standing contacts with Navantia, world class shipbuilders from a fellow friendly Nato country. Navantia has form too -they have successfully built frigates for the Australian Navy.Their first ( one of many ) visit to the yard today is significant .I imagine JW and Navantia will be salivating over the prospect of the Type 31E Frigates. If we can secure some pre payment /grants from N.I executive maybe some help from Navantia itself the future is indeed **** ....30p will be a good punt for the likes of Crux. All we need for Christmas is the news flow per IM !
Yes indeed..i stand by that one,Tango 1 !! The future is indeed bright, the future is yellow and black ! JW and his team have worked an exceptional piece of commercial wizardry this time out of " very thin air " and have performed an even better PR exercise in keeping the very loyal workforce on board and introducing them to his new potential and very experienced team on site . So many congratulations are due to the BOD in all respects today...looking forward to news of the contracts very soon and workers and citizens of Belfast will not be disappointed, believe you me !
Hi --am still having issues with Primary Bid Platform .I am probably being thick but would like to know if any others are disadvantaged here.Essentially after the nonsense yesterday of my putting in an inadequate full year for my card expiry today my Bank has rejected the payment because I have hightened security and have not used Primary Bid before ..The bank are not able to help as they do not see the attempted transaction on Screen .Anyhow Primary Bid have actually been very proactive and have sent me a link via Jarvis & Partners to sort the issue out so to be fair to them the matter is being sorted but this is just to dialogue with any of you having similar issues ..Yours, Mr Notquitesosavvyafter all !!
Primary Bid have phoned me back ..fairly promptly -apparently you have to put in the whole of the year expiry not just two symbols like say , 20 watch this one ..again not fully satisfactory when you are in a hurry ....
Agreed ..but Primary Bid Platform needs to sort itself... that was the point of the post --would love to invest more in this gem of a Company and it's nascent rebirth ..hopefully !!
Me too --on the last page of Primary Bid when my card was rejected as Invalid which is nonsense as used earlier for Petrol purchase ..Just bought 3M in the market at .03p .Primary Bid platform did not work for me ....would be interested if others experienced similar.
Crikey ...and more to follow ..let's just top it up to say 5B !!
........... may we bring hope ." Actually Mrs T used the word "despair" but that is no matter as we have to balance up the pro's and cons of the imminent vote and try and assess where we have come ...and where we are going. We have certainly come a very long way since the Boardroom "coup" of 2017 and now the pace hastens !
On the negative side the SP has of course had a torrid time in 2019 falling, becoming diluted and now only just a little above the minima .That would not normally go down well at any A.G.M.
Even the announcements of a placement at 1.2p. the news of the status and indentity of our new potential Offtake Partner ,Vitol, news about the opportunity at Barrow and finally the bombshell of H&W ,none of these did much to raise the SP. The latter was of course dampened by realisation of the costs and consequences.None of us could have imagined back in January 2019 that we would be where we now are and perhaps none would have expected so little of the jigsaw pieces for IM yet to be in place .No funds from Mr J etc etc.
Yes, there is a lot of negativity and all so painful at that including may I say for JW and his shareholding.
NOW ..on the positive side as I have said here before, H&W is a gem of a deal. JW and his team know a bit about shipbuilding as well as Gas Storage markets. To have pulled off the purchase from under the noses of other significant bidders ( and be assured that there were probably some "big players " sniffing around),to have kept it under wraps so as not to affect the market, then to pull of an amazing Book Build last week ..well,words are not enough.
As long as there are no gremlins likely with IM this year and then no cash call if we do become involved with Barrow and others then you just have to support the BOD's vision for Infa over the next 18 months and Vote x4 in favour ..and also support the imminent Shareholder Rights issue at .030p.Surely a no brainer especially after I urged such at 1.2p in the summer and ruined my headgear.
Today we have a mid cap of approx £5m..JW's vision is for a mid cap of £50m in 18 months or sooner. Some will say that he has "shafted" us all the way down this year by doing things on his own bat and without full or indeed any reference but sometimes there just ain't time to involve shareholder meetings and votes etc. "One has to get on with it."
Please re-read Dodders last post on 17th November.I for one do second the last para.Should be a lively meeting !! I support JW and team 110% .There is still an element of Doubt today but much more Hope !!
.......I have to say that the prize for the very best and most educative and informative posts go to you Drodders ...( and a bit to Spud !) 84 and still rising after a truly momentous day.84 is the amount of posts today not Spud's age by the way.
I have been here over 10 years .I am not an expert at all but I really became excited when Stephen P took the reins and introduced JW &Co.Even more when finally Vitol were introduced as a World Class partner for the project, even more when we were given a bite at Barrow.
And then H&W .Drodders, your summary is spot on.To fill the book today in less than 4 hours for a teeny weeny Aim set up is ***** unbelievable.I just wonder if it has been done before in such manner? OK .JW and AR may have good contacts in the City but we do owe them ( and JT over there somewhwere) 110% support now for today and 29th Novemember and for not "screwing" the tiddler from re-birth; Calmer tomorrow !!
That the Directors have not been taking out anything like a fair reward for 6 months ..accepted that today is NOT a god news day and maybe they should not be rewarded for the huge drop in SP this year at all... but hang in as H&W is full of promise ...if only the BOD will announce some detail on it's actual prospects in the development of naval and other contracts and enterprises. As you all are saying some meat on the bones needed .£20K contribution is a token considering that we are NOT employing "Fat Cats" here ! ...IMHO of course.
There will be some good news as well tomorrow, folks ..and I do not intend to sell ...or in the next few weeks despite the choppy seas ..the gem that is H&W has been secured ..it now needs to be fairly funded and maybe you will all be given a chance to partake in the spoils --put your losses asside for a while and if you believe in JW&Co for heaven's sake hold on ...very tight..The Placement will be scary in my opinion ( without full knowledge !) but it will be marketed and supported with good news ! Sleep well and put alarms on for 6.50 a.m.
Word has it that H&W has a fantastic future, slightly a little tarnished if Corbyn & Co get in and mess up with the adventurous planned naval spend but not fatally so ......and,yes, there were other bidders,I understand ,from far bigger organisations than us ..both in for the short term naval temptations with no long term plan at all for the workers and apprentices ..that is where JW & Co scored a blinder.....they had vision and backed it up !!! Stay focussed for next 10 days or so.
Spot on ..again ..watch this space !!
Spot on,Drodders ..in all respects .I hope you don't mind your new Infa Name..If you were Roderick ,you would be Rodders. You could I suppose team up with your mate,Spud, and bring along your rod !
Anyhow to the point..H&W is a true bargain ( I had better not say snip!?) It is worthy of immense acclaim that the BOD have secured this one in the bag. I am not sure what the competition was but there must have been other bidders for this gem.The yard is fully functional, the last wind blade having left only two months ago.Orders and potential orders abound. We need to generate cash asap with our new found tangible asset,so tomorrow and the next two weeks are going to be exciting for most but perhaps unsettling for some prone to seasickness ... the Placement will confirm the vision in that the BOD want to grow baby Infa to a 50M youngster in 12-18 months.I never have been privy to any placement news prior to announcements including this one but remember that the N.I. Executive and the Gov. ( in so far there is one ?) would never have allowed us on board if they though we would fail .Any competition for the yard would have been from large corporations or institutions possibly? We beat them off !!!
So see what comes along, hold on to the mainspar and back the BOD at this crucial time .Drodders' last remarks are just so correct...and IM is still on course ..just !!
Thanks,Radders...just felt a bit bothered about allegations of "upsetting the locals" One really does have to see the state of the area around Ballylumford and the North Coast to understand where I am coming from ..The locals could well do with Infa's help over there ! onwards and upwards
A possible good time to buy ?? An Associate has added just 2m !!!
