Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
Danawinner ...is welcome anytime ..for obvious reasons !!..Yes,Judith has so far acted very professionally and under difficult local conditions.
I knew Snowman personally and spoke with him frequently ..always positive friendly and .....had expertise on the sector as per his many posts ..will be missed.
I have it on good authority that a number of the "Sells" today were actually Blue ones --a bit deceptive judging by the spread but with JW in Spain and now half way through the 42 day period there is still good interest in this share ...especially below .03p !!
Thank you --most helpful --I missed that post but between you and good old Spud I now know what to do ...I agree that either at or before the AGM we need to have a rough idea of the extent of contracts being lined up for H&W in the next 12 months and some more certainty about Barrow and The E.U monies ..I repeat that we would never have been allowed anywhere near competing for H&W had we not had a plausible plan for the yard that was fully costed and achievable ! So expecting some good positive and rather more detailed news in the next fortnight ..
.......appears to be docked in the smaller of of our two facilities.I just wish that there was an easy way of assessing what ships were coming, expected, berthed and going ! At least this signifies that we have work to cover the overheads and hopefully there are more lined up to maintain a continuous flow. More will revealed on 31st January no doubt ..Must be lined up for some positive news flow soon and certainly in February when the Consultation Period finally expires etc !If I am wrong about Stena Superfast Vii ..let me know ! Another chunk out of my hat !
Could be " Gone with the Wind Plc " Only joking as the gale is indeed blowing this week but the sails are holding ..just !
Or something more generic and suitable for our project ..like " Hydrogas Plc or SecureGas Plc" those names appear to have been taken ...whilst we certainly can improve on Infrastrata Plc hopefully the Name Change will not happen in the short term as it must be quite expensive to achieve and disruptive, changing all the stationery web site ..and now the Invoices !!
BUT it is good that the Board are thinking ahead and being proactive on this ..we need a new logo too !!
.............and it would even better if we could soon have an idea of what ships we are likely to see in dock at H&W. in the next few weeks with knowledge of the short term contracts and then some longer term ideas would be welcome before the AGM ..for confidence building !! Looking great for N.I. at last !
...is the flavour of the year especially in N. Ireland --There could be possiblities for dual use of our caverns ?
It does look as though J Bamford Junior is making a go of sorting out the debacle of the WrightBus saga at Ballymena with the first buses under his direction leaving the factory this week and potential mega orders for his planned Hyrdogen buses being ordered in hundreds from Italy and elsewhere. With the politians talking again at last at Stormont 2020 could indeed be an interesting fruitful year for the Province !!
Loved it !!
Looking forward to a news update on the DD and hopefully perhaps a further extension of this potentially most viable and cost effective project. I understand that we ( the BOD ) were encouraged to look at this "Sleeping Gem" by one of our potential partners as a perfect fit with IM..Since then H&W has come on the scene and may have become a distraction ( quite naturally ) but that makes the project even mor interesting especially as we can gather the expertise to service the vessel or indeed vessels and provide the steel work etc inhouse so to speak. We have been looking into the technical and commercial feasability over the last 6 months -an update is due tomorrow and as long as the project is deemed still to be viable with no further dilution there should be an interesting RNS.It may not uplift the SP at this stage but it will set out our continuing strategy for 2020 !! IMHO of course !
John and the Team would not have been allowed anywhere near H&W had those in power thought or dictated that IM would be the cause of any problem --we have to go through the due process and all signs reports and messages todate show that we can be fully compliant which is our aim and modus operandi -now there's a big word to start 2020 !
The Drydock apparently cost £7.2m to build in the years 1965-1968 --equivalent value today is £130m ---not a bad deal IMHO !!
HNY to all !!
Mention in my post of yesterday should have been made also of Malcolm Groat, the Non Executve Director ..I met Malcolm at the AGM --he has been battling with the E.U. over many months and otherwise and deserves some credit for all hard work with the team Infa--there IS light at the end of the proverbial tunnel,I am told !!
Snowballs is fine ..I spoke to him recently ..just posted this to see if it passs the editor !!
Great,Chris ..but remember just like this time last year that we are not quite there yet --a few imponderables to overcome in Jan-Feb ..and then onwards !!
A decade ago or so Portland Gas ( the forerunner of Infa ) was tipped by the Sunday Times as a Share of the Year 2010 .I invested £200 which was enough as the shares were over £1 at the time !!
Portland Salt Caverns never really took off despite Andrew Hindle being an eminent geologist.OK, Andrew made some bloomers including Woodburn but he laid the foundations for IM and Adrian Po**** came along and sorted the Board out...and then JW and team pop up ! So what have got going for such an accolade ?
1. John and Arun's connections, expertise, and damn hard graft ..and own investment in the buisness ( quite some risk too )No greedy "Fat Cats " here.
2. Judith successfully beavering away on the Island against constant flack.
3. Teamed with Vitol..OK it may still only be a Term Sheet and subject to all sorts of conditions but probably more through Arun than John, this is a significant world class potential partner to have.
4. I still do not fully undestand how on earth JW & Co snatched H&W from underneath the noses of the "Big Boys". I can tell you that they would not have been allowed anywhere near the yard if those in power in N.I. thought for one moment that IM was to be a non starter or that their business plan/contacts were simply not up to the mark.
5. HW has a bright future now -The ferry dockings are just some starter crumbs.John P and Paul B and team are well recognised internationally. We have a brilliant Nato friendly Partner in Navantia and with Bojo & Co pushing for more UK based nationwide shipbuilding we stand a great chance of work on the type 31E ( remember that the "E" stands for export. OK we will not build a whole ship but we are well placed with the Bab**** consortium to build a significant number of modules.
6. FSRU's are another potential source of work and profit -OK we probably will not build one from scratch but no doubt will adapt a vessel to suit our needs ...should Barrow materiaise or the FSRU Hub at Larne be further considered.
7. The new Chairman,Clive Richardson, is another of JW's steals .I have read the profile and history with the VGroup International .Clive would not have accepted if for one moment he thought we were a duffer.
8. The emergence of significant respected ii's now on board and the raising of finance in 2-3 hours or so-same applies.
9. There is more but enough for now ! Oh,Yes , I was not expecting 37 more posts last eve after only 2 over the weekend. Come on folks ..confidence. We have a lot more positives going for us than all the negativity thrown about ..a Share of the Year 2020 .Just wait til year end 2020 but hold on tight and be very patient !!
Great post,Chris, and photo per JW .. our Mr Magic Man now with a professional and highly experienced competent managerial team that seems acceptable to the workforce and well known and respected in the industry !!
Just what we needed ..best find of the evening !!
................For exciting revelation of which ship is docking tomorrow with perhaps some photos in the Belfast Tellygraph ...maybe even news of some follow on contracts ...would be a badly needed boost before the break !!
Excellent scipt and construction ..onwards and upwards ...news this week? !!!
