The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I agree, to my mind it would suggest a proposed deal could be pretty imminent. Hope your 10-15p on top prediction would be right :-)
What makes you say 20p? Not that I would be complaining!
That tweet was from a very successful bowls player Richard Corsie, won the World Indoor Champs many times.
apologies did not mean to double up the message there folks
As Mulletman suggests correctly just at the moment they are only selling a dream. But having said that, I like the premise and the potential for an exciting venture so I'm happy with my speculative investment. (well for me anyway!)
As Mulletman says at the moment the only thing being traded is a dream. But having said that, it is an exciting sounding venture and for me well worth the speculative investment.
I sold a lot of my holdings here at 43p. I didn't want to but I over exposed myself, and couldn't take the risk of hitting zero. Looks like I may regret that decision, but not point not being honest.
Taught me not to over expose to one share, had I spread my portfolio sensibly I could have held on and be enjoying the fun now. Good luck to you all.
That is the one mate.
Perhaps the title refers to us holders, but encouraged to see 29 seats sold for the 8pm showing of Unhinged at the Leeds Cineworld on Friday already.
A very fair, balanced and accurate summary there Investroid. As a holder at a higher SP than I would like I hope it is the positive factors that prevail! But I would be a fool not to appreciate the risks here too.
Hi all,
Yep that's right Cineworld listings usually go out on a Tuesday early afternoon for the Friday onwards. Thought they might have done earlier this time but made sense to leave until all the open ends are tied up.
Thank you for the link. I do love Mooky, I would not have wanted him as my school teacher but I'm am happy with him leading the company! What was striking for me, was that he was not overly worried by a further delay in US and conceded it could happen. I think as he hinted, you only want to bring back thousands of staff even the time is right and more importantly staff and punters are safe.
Good point about Intu! haha, yes it is a good one that Cineworld. Just needs to open now, 2 weeks Friday all being well mate.
hahah :)
Hi mate
I just wondered if you have visited the White Rose Cineworld (Leeds). It is a really good one, I used to have a cineworld card when I lived in the south and used it up here. I actually cancelled it as I am in North Leeds so it's a good 30 min drive, but a great cinema. Be interesting to see when the listings drop for the re-opening which I hope will be on the 31st as planned.
Afternoon guys,
Bit late to the party today after a late finish at work last night. I see a few firms are nicely up as of about 10am. I saw the Moderna news last night, but imagine if it had been that it would have been at opening. Anyway more than happy to see it, it's been turbulent as a holder of late. As we all know this share moves quickly, so the 70p mark certainly not beyond the realms of possibility anytime soon.
We were 53.52p now 54.0p
Hardly any reason to panic.
It won't, a CFD is betting essentially on the movement of the share price. You don't own the asset at any point just making your contract for difference with the broker on the movement in price. Be careful with those.
Exactly. And the plot is out of the bag after the first Friday screenings anyway for anyone not able to attend on the opening day, so I guess it's no different.
Having said all that this share is beginning to get stressful!
