Not hearing much from you glue, are you in anything at present?

I read that one in the paper chan. There was a bit of movement Friday and I think RAB looks like a share to buy and sell regularly rather than hold. It's failed to sustain a break out above 110p but has shown good support at 90p for the last three months. Getting in in the low to mid 90s and out something above £1 could prove a profitable system (if the levels hold of course), relatively thin spread and decent trading volume too.

I took a small punt on these, but sold out a day or two early for only a small profit. Pity as if I could have waited (my trade was at the end of the account period) I would have been up another 8% or so. IEC are moving from AIM to the full market shortly, and this may make them of interest to many more fund managers. The huge upgrading to their oil stocks resulted in the big rise early in March, but they drifted for a while afterwards, dropping back to £11.50 or so. They are heading towards £14.00 now by the look of it, but I'm undecided whether another correction is due or whether they'll keep rising.

Who's he referring to then? I run by the same name on both sites so I have nothing to hide. But I've not been following LNG on advfn close enough to see who else might have posted on both. Lots of ramping on advfn for this share mind, can't believe the numbers some of the punters are coming up with, 60p, 80p lol. I'm already content with the performance of this stock, anything else is a bonus. If the markets remain interested in the gaming stocks (and about time for a rerating of these most would agree) then this will very likely rise further, bid interest or no. Dasv, some people just don't like to read about anyone in profit, probably best to ignore them rather than take the bait. Congrats to debbie, the first poster for LNG on this site...

Oh and then some. LNG by far the top performer, but I'd agree with GedW, the whole sector has risen spectaculary, if you were in any of them you'd be quids in this week. My 1% pledge to Comic Relief is rather more now than the 97p or so from last Friday. It stands at £68.04, and I can say that on the back of ULT, TAN, LNG and even todays BFC punt, that's the best week I've ever had.

Lol, only a paper profit until I sell :) But I think the majority of the posters here probably have it right, a bit further to go yet. Every time the price moves up a bit a few sellers come out of the woodwork, but then the buyers seem to return. I'm starting to believe the hype myself, could they really get back to 20p next week? Hmmm...

Lol, make all the assumptions you want about my trading, but I can assure you that I don't maked decisions to buy or sell shares based on level 2 data. But sorry, if you think Level 2 is irrelevant when deciding when to sell on a day trade then I have to disagree. The only time I use it is when I've already made a decision to trade, in an effort to get the best price. And it worked for me fine today when selling BFC. I'll be whatever I choose to be, without prompting from anyone, thank you. LNG riding high, 16-16.25p. What a share, up 2K in 24 hours, and without the use of level 2! ;)

Day trade on BFC worked out well, and EME is one of my old favourites. Did take a hit last time I sold but overall am still up on EME though. And with LNG doing so well I think EME is worth another go... Doubt I'll risk interlink personally though, they could go anywhere...

Alas no, came close yesterday but didn't think they were worth a day trade and didn't want to blow my self imposed account limit. There was money to be made here though, clearly. Done ok on BFC however, managed a day trade today for a 6.5% gain after costs, first one of those in a while.

A very good rise indeed, but I think that it has to be taken in context, on Monday the 12th they closed at 23.75p and that followed a long and painful fall. One year ago today these shares closed at 176p, and although the start of a recovery is welcome I doubt it's much consolation to anyone in before this March. Personally though, I like the volatility of a share that has fallen this much so went for a day trade at 14.875p, a bit of a gamble but paid off nicely, just sold at 16.0p. Thanks BFC.

Have been away from my screens engraving medals for the local hockey club (bit of a sideline) so always keen to see what's been happening, and I see LNG has pushed up to 15.25-16.0p having hit a bit of selling at 15.5p. Still some buying though so the time to sell isn't yet...

Offer now up to 16p and still the buyers are snapping them up, last 4 trades all at 16p. Offer price is stuck at 14.75p though and I suspect 15p is one of those psycological barriers that will trigger a bout of selling, probably why the market makers haven't raised the bid yet. If enough buys come in and they can absorb any selloff then we should see the bid up too fairly shortly. Shame there's no SETS trading on this share, it would be good to see level 2 buy and sell orders...

On advfn a couple of weeks ago one chap was berating them. He had TAN shares, which touched 90p then fell back to below 82p triggering his stop loss. They ended the day at 86p or so and were back above 90p a day or two later, with him kicking himself that he'd lost money AND had to pay more to buy the shares back. Where I do use them is when I buy a share speculatively but then it starts to fall. I usually set a 5% bail out loss, as it's pointless to have to sell something riding high (e.g. my TAN shares, heaven forbid) to pay for another stock which is dropping. If LNG drops back down towards 12p I suspect that I will probably sell, not at a huge profit, but still at a profit. If they continue to rise then I'll hold. If interest is still there at the end of next week then I'll be looking for something else to sell to stay with LNG.

Hold. For now. I was a bit tempted at 14.75p and might well have sold had they hit 15p (bid) but the buyers are back after the drop off despite the wider spread, 14.0-14.75p. Trading quote is a bit tighter, 14.15-14.75p which would be over 20% profit in a day after costs (for me). Buys of 995K against sells of 594K, there have also been 360K of delayed trades, which look to be 3-1 in favour of buys. I think they have further to go, buying interest is still there, and they were bound to succumb to a little profit taking having risen so swiftly this morning.

Sorry, as the post before me mentioned, this is a proposed merger rather than a joint venture, Elixir Petroluem and Gawler Resources.

The JV looks like good news, but as ever I'm put off by the lack of liquidity in ELP, such a thinly traded share. Plenty of prospects though and if just one of the North Sea licences results in a find I've no doubt they'll fly. The Texas project is due to start producing gas in September, which will help cashflow, and overall they look well funded. I doubt it's a company to risk a lot of cash on, but maybe pop a grand in and come back in 6 months...

It looks like LNG has had some decent press this morning, and is attracting plenty of interest. Good hike on the share price already and 7th highest riser up 11%. Current spread is 13.75-14.5p, 358K buys against 123K sells already and we're less than 20 minutes since opening.

Rumour of the day Leisure & Gaming, which runs online betting sites and a chain of Italian betting shops, rose 2.5p to 12.75p after it said trading was ahead of forecases. The group is understood to have been approached by larger bookmaking peers in the wake of a European Court of Justice ruling that Italy should open up its gambling industry.
