I topped up again this morning and got in at 11.34.... I didn't expect to see this below 11.5 , so just decided to take the chance and top up at that. I see however that my trade is lsited as a sell and not a buy

I know that many of you on here are, like myself ex SXX......this however, both as a board, and as an investment, has an entirely different feel to it. It seems to me that the the business model here, and in particular the arrangement between GGp and Newcrest is very reassuring from a GGp investor's point of view. Maybe that is a strategy or business model, that if pursued by SXX may well have led to a different outcome. Needless to say , I feel a lot better with this than I did with SXX

......and I know where I would rather be! Lol

Morning all, I have been following NRR for some time, and when this went below 50p I thought it was well worth a punt. I had previously thought about it when it was about 180, so it looks as if there might be a decent prospect of an uplift in the SP in due course....one thing however that causes me some concern, is that if this is in fact such a good buy at this level as , on the face of it, it appears to be, then it is surprising that the Directors haven't bought.....secondly do any of you know if the dividend is being maintained or at least the dividend policy remains unaltered?

Even if this story is not true, it might have the effect of concentrating the minds on the realistic value of Openreach, and have a beneficial effect on the SP

Oh, and not forgetting the dreaded "chinois" lol

Skier, yes I agree.....it is not necessarily being openly or actively marketed ....but it now has an "open to offers" sign put up.....Norwegian sovereign wealth fund, Qataris, Saudis, et al .... Get your bids in!

Morning Tom, how are things with you these days? We haven't spoken since I sold out of TW. I unfortunately got into GGP a bit late, but always remembered that you spoke of this on the TW Board a few months back....I had been watching this for a while but I have to admit I am generally a bit risk adverse when it comes to the AIM market. Anyway, I am on board with this now, and looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. I was encouraged this morning to see that you are still topping up at the current level.

OWLS, I can maybe help answer that..... My wife is now working from home. She is a payroll manageress with a firm of accountants, and work just as effectively from home as from her office, which is about a minimum of an hour's commute each way ...... The 1,100 people whom she is responsible fir eburung are paid, on time each month , I dont think regard her as "doing a worthless managerial job"
