@Casapinos, yes I agree that Sharon White was a disaster - she will equally prove to be a disaster at John Lewis. I don't know how on earth some of these people get these jobs

I would have thought that the market would have reacted more favourable to the half year results, and in particular to a 29% in the advertising revenue - particularly as the SP as reacted negatively in the past to a drop in advertising revenue.

It may be that a failure to reinstate the dividend, or at lest indicate when that be, has dampened any enthusiasm for an otherwise decent set of results.

Interesting to see what relevance or synergy there might be between ITV and bridgepoint.

I would think we need an up beat statement on advertising revenue before we will see a significant increase in the SP in the short term

I was thinking a few days ago,that I hadn't seen you for a while. I hope all is well with you. It's nice also to see the SP stage a bit of a recovery today, although in the medium to longer term , I for one do not have a concern, and have been topping up on the dips

@Tymees, yes that was my earlier point, it is a HNW investor, not an Institution, and at 300 grand not really likely to influence the SP, regardless of whether it is a buy or a sell

@Godzilla, if you are 50% down, what was your average buy in price?........you must have been very late to the parry unfortunately. its only a loss if you sell, and there is always the potential recovery, but your call obviously

At that price, it would take an increase of 37% to get the price back up to the level at which SD's options were granted!
