If its supply side inflation, and I'm pretty sure a large part of it is. Then people are getting what they voted for. Since Brexit we only have to visit the local supermarket to see the increased shortage of goods, my local asda specialises in empty shelves. I know other issues play a part, and we aren't the only ones suffering inflation, but another Brexit bonus is we will suffer more and for longer with supply inflation.

Just opened a new bond 5.67% this time next year it will be interesting to see which as performed better, bond or LG , happy to have both options, but I suspect bond will be best.

The market will judge his performance next year, but they will react to his appointment today. You can't appoint a new CEO, and think it's the same as changing the brand of tea you are using. It's big news and of course the market will have opinions as of now.

Wilson was quite highly respected and still this sp fell,can't see his replacement having a positive impact, not for a while anyway.

First Iraq war probably justified, a large bully picking on a small neighbour ( though for some reason we haven't attacked Russia for the same reason) Second gulf war was criminal in every way, joke evidence about WMDs etc. It was Bush playing the tough guy avenging his dad's failure to get rid Suddan, and Blair trying to compete with Mrs Thatcher, I've never seen a tongue so far up an arris. Completely unjustified war, got rid of Suddan who the west had happily been arming for years, and opened the gates for Islamic state. I know which I prefer. You don't have to like either, just find the one you can work with.

Blair was a complete TW T. However I thought our culture was pretty strong under him. It was the time of Britpop, the last great time when British music was the envelope of the world. We had great British shows on the theatre, a strong film industry producing films that were clearly British in origin. He had many, many faults, but British culture was more British than anytime since the 60s.

Nobody as yet told me why it will reach that. Try not to put words into my mouth, I was at least honest enough to say I'd not made myself clear re break even. It's just how I judge my shares. I look at what I paid per share and the break even number for that, and then the break even sp including dividends .
