I know your struggling to keep up R2d2, so I'll type slowly. We are talking about it making 280 _ 300 this year. That's what people are predicting here. I believe we are at least 18 months from that. Nobody as yet told me why it will reach that. Try not to put words into my mouth, I was at least honest enough to say I'd not made myself clear re break even. It's just how I judge my shares. I look at what I paid per share and the break even number for that, and then the break even sp including dividends .

If I said 260 then I misled you, not deliberately. Take away the dividends I've collected, I would need 264 to break even. With the dividends it's around 240, maybe just below. The performance of this share this year is what I base my judgement on where it will finish the year. Would anyone like to answer my question about a share that wasn't bought at 250 will suddenly be bought at 275,or are you all going to carry on avoiding that question?

I don't doubt this is a good company. However I'm the one that keeps being questioned. The disappointment here is that people who expect this to get to 280_300 are not questioned, because people like what they are saying, it's somehow OK to talk nonsense. I'll repeat my earlier question. What makes people think a share that wasn't being bought in the mid 250s, with a dividend payment around the corner will become popular enough to sell in the 275s with the dividend behind it? Baring world events taking a turn for the better those kind of numbers are miles away. When I first invented here. I was pleased and I added slowly. This last year it's been less pleasing, people who try and say they are pleased with this year's performance are not being honest with themselves. Nothing wrong in being honest about things. This hasn't been a good year why pretend otherwise, and why have a go at people prepared to put their hands up and acknowledge it?

Second point is fair enough, however Ftse did reach a record high post Truss, not reflected here.

Why aren't the people who are predicting this to be somewhere between 280 and 300 by the end of the year the ones getting the attention here? Is it because even though they are very likely to be miles out, you like what they are saying? That's really my main gripe here. I know I have to be patient ,but that easier said than done, and nonsense about 280 plus adds to the frustration. Can somebody explain why a share that couldn't rise around the 254 mark with a big dividend around the corner, is suddenly going to become popular in the 270s with the dividend 8 months away. I know nobody likes negative posts, but looking at what as happened and trying to be honest about what is likely to happen is not a bad thing. However just to get onside and cheer everyone up. Of course this will be at a minimum of £3 by Christmas, and this year Santa will bring me that pages girl I keep writing to him about.

Your right about my spelling. I was distressed if that what you want to call it, when the Ftse was at recorded highs earlier this year and this went nowhere. Its not just in bad times this as failed to perform. It failed when the market boomed. Remember?

R2d2. You addressed me, I replied. Telling me to go away is what you do when you don't like my arguments, but can't defeat them or defend your own. Breaking even is a matter of what you call even. Somewhere around 265, gets me my original money back. I get my money back with dividends at lower than that, without logging into my account and doing the maths I can't remember my being in profit with dividends number but of the top of my head and adding up coming dividend I think it's high 230s.

You can't just take the dividends in isolation. They can pay dividends till the cows comes home, if the value of your investment falls including dividends you are still loosing. Hiding behind words like patience and long term are a little dishonest.It means I'm loosing money now and I'm in the wrong place now,but one day it might come good. Better investing is being in the right place at the right time, not hanging on till the place you are becomes good, as for £3 , I'm sure it will one day and what will £3 mean at todays prices by the time it gets there? Depends how long you have to wait. 18 months minimum is my guess.

I don't care about a 5 year chart. I know where easy jet as been. I bought them at 4.24 a couple of months back and they are up on that. That's all I need to be concerned with.

Easy jet up, hummingbird up,equals up, LG down. I think I know the difference between good and bad! I also know the difference between people who recognise a poor performing share and a good one, you are all doing a great job of putting a positive slant on this year's decline and losses, but it won't alter the fact you have gone backwards, people who think this will make 280 this year are in no position to critices anyone. Yes im honest enough to say I'm stuffed here, just have to live long enough for the dividends to cover the otherwise tardy performance of this share. Its not moaning, I take full responsibility of my bad investment here, I'm just not prepared like many here to fool myself that a declining, or stagnant sp is good investing.

I'd rather be a moaner than someone who doesn't take responsibility for their own actions.

I've never voted Tory, never will, not sure we can blame the Tories for the Brexit mess though. We voted for it ourselves against the advice of the then Tory prime minister and chancellor. Once voted for they had little choice, unfortunately we got a dishonest cretin who believed in it running things. Downward spiral set in motion at our request.

Sorry but this talk of foward momentum and imaginary takeovers reeks a little of desperation. Basically we are at the not doing very good stage,but hang on long enough and one day we might, and hoping we won't miss any real opportunities while we are hanging on.

Wouldn't a lot more people, have a lot more money in their pockets if people like S C kept their well researched, well intentioned, but constantly and totally wrong opinions to themselves. I suggest either start calling it right, or stop calling it at all. You are costing people.

If this company was a family pet it would have been put down by now to save the suffering. I almost wish it could happen here to put shareholders out their agony and allow them to move on.
