It seems odd for the price to drop this much bearing in mind the fundamentals and the pipeline progress remain largely on track. The Biopharma sector has been hit a bit in the last week but not to this extent. Likewise sterling has rallied against the dollar but only by 2 or 3 percent. I continue to buy.

Interesting article which discusses the current and future value creation being seen by certain Immunokinase Drug Candidates including SYK. https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucebooth/2013/03/13/immunokinase-drug-candidates-12b-in-value-creation-and-counting/#316c3afc5cac It seems Syk is probably one of the highest value targets, especially in the context there are only 3 drugs being developed for this candidate and we are probably one of the leaders. 523 could be a very very valuable asset in the medium to long term, particularly as it moves through Phase 2 in the next 2 or 3 years.

Things I really love about this update are:- 1. Chi-Med is comfortable with, and actually sees advantages in Lilly not taking up global rights to Fruquintinib as they are gearing up on the U.S Regulatory side, so can now go it alone outside China 2. AZ have said they will proceed into final stages of development with Tagrisso globally Lots more of course but these 2 are absolutely key

indeed, I saw that, but you know what the fickle market is like! Agreed miti - another great upadte. I will also log in to the U.S Analyst presentation as their questions last year were interesting and will probably provide another slant on it. Loved the fact Christian has the view they hope Lilly do not take up ex China rights to Fruquintinib, especially in the context of the Co. setting up a Regulatiory Team in the U.S. That is a great move.

CFDA 2 invoice policy - hope the market doesnt react negatively in the U.S

Miti - is the CP rev guidance for this year not because of the change they have to book it? I thought I saw a note on it but mobile at the moment so will check again. Hopefully Christian will touch on that in the presentation.

Great set of results as expected. The presentation at 9am should be interesting, especially the Analyst (+ Bruce!) questions at the end I look forward to the AGM on the 27th April

Annual Results, 7am on Monday I am looking forward to the numbers and of course the 2018 forward guidance but the most interesting part will be updates on Fruquintinib (especially what Lilly are doing with regards to global rights) and Savolitinib (especially what AZ are planning to do with regards to seeking BT designation)
