The IP on their pipeline is probably worth more than the mcap if an Analyst was to do some proper DCF calculations, especially as it is in Phase 3 / Registration study. I don't see any Analyst research on the Co's website, has anyone seen anything?

That’s correct but each ordinary share is equivalent to 2 ADR’s So that’s 2 x 76 cents = 152 cents divided by 1.33 = 144 pence

That is my thought, ADR to OS equilibrium will happen, and as you say LB, it'll probably be a rise here and a fall of the ADR price to get some form of equilibrium at some point, depending on MM Books

Thanks George, the same applies to HCM but how is it that the price of 2 ADR's is currently 8 times the price of 1 Ordinary Share? I don't understand how the difference can be so large,. With HCM the max difference is about 10% but it evens out when the MM's do ADR-OS re-balancing

I have a large holding in HCM which also has the same arrangement and sometimes the value of 2 ADR's differs up to circa 10% from the value of 1 ordinary share, but rarely more than 10%.

The MM's can inter-trade ADR's and ordinary shares and do that to keep price equilibrium.

It appears the same arrangement is not in place with Midatech ADR's. Does anyone know why?

Interesting tie-up with China Medical Systems Holdings Limited as they used ti be listed on AIM and most people made a lost of money investing in them before they de-listed off AIM and listed in HK. They had a great track record of growth and have a good distribution network in China, plus regulatory framework, so appear to me to be a great partner to work with. There's also a massive unmet medical need in China so the lead candidate from Midatech has a great chance to succeed there with CMSL's infrastructure

Like HCM, the ADR's drive the price here, and in pre-market they are trading at 67 cents

2 x ADR's per ordinary LSE share = 134 cents

134 / 1.33 USD = 102p equivalent

Something big will happen to re-address the balance here, with the ADR's will drop or the London oridinary shares will spike massively, or maybe a bit of both and they will meet in the middle
