It's a lot of buys for just a single half-pump (new PM).. I don't see anyone really ramping this share.

It will probably depend on the delayed results due anytime now.
If the anomalies are a disaster then yep the company could go cheap (but not any cheaper than it is now). If the accounts aren't too bad and despite any historic corrections the revenue is still rising then I would have thought most ii's would want a lot more than a quid a share. (because basically it's a great company, really efficient and with great contracts)

Patrick needs a rocket up him, he always sounds so reluctant and miserable... maybe if he was a bit more upbeat it might reflect better on the Company.

It's very strange, must be around 6 to 1 in favour of buys.. I guess we will find out sooner or later what's afoot.

I guess the first national retailer will be Tesco as Global Brands already have deals and products with them.. nice to see that they truly have a world-wide reach.. although the U.S.A. isn't part of that.. Don must still be reserving the US for someone special.

Kier has been appointed to deliver a £13.9m full internal fit out at Barnsley blood centre in Capitol Park, Dodworth by NHS and Blood Transplant. The works have been procured under the Department of Health & Social Care’s ProCure 22 (P22) Framework.

A couple of the directors including P Southon had a lot of votes against their re-election but they scraped through.. not sure what it was all about though..

I wouldn't use the figures from this site as they are dated and sometimes unreliable.. I'm just looking at the latest reported figures from the company themselves... just saying that the Kier net debt that many seem so worried about is relatively small in comparison to many other FTSE companies.

Err.. because there was a trading update in June and the announcement due 30th July was made early.... those prophets should really do more (simple) research.

Kier carries a lot less debt than many FTSE 100/250 companies. It is taking action to reduce the debt even though it has been carrying it quite comfortably for several years... it is only doing this because Carillion collapsed causing Government to set new parameters for bidders. Good to see them taking extra steps to increase cash generation by focussing on core activities and disposing of non-core. It's still going to take a year or two to fully recover the share price though.

Exiting both schemes fits with the Kier Group strategy..

I'm still hopeful of a short-term and long-term rise... there wasn't really that much volume or value on the trades which pushed the price up yesterday. (and yes, at least 2 pinches of salt with sponsored brokers).

I thought you said (to the TECA's) there was lots more to come at 7p... I think anything under 9p maybe 10p is cheap for this share with awhole load of new licensing revenue to come.

It's because Blackwoods Gin posted a massive 32% increase in volumes sales the prior year. I don't expect small and local stores to stock Distil products but all the large stores in my area have both Blackwoods and RedLeg on the shelves..

I guess we will see how they are getting on over the next several months.. and if the share price is still sub 2p I'll calm down.
