"The NHS actually funded this project, hence the NHS has very much been addressing the problem - with Genedrive."
So is this why they have decided to go live with just 3-5 sites rather all the 180??? lol... also this was developed and funded alongside just 2 NHS trusts not the entire NHS as you state. Again showing you're clueless aren't you Jimmy boy lol. They will still need to convince the other trusts to buy into this, who have not been involved in the development in any shape or for so stop misleasing people by making claims like the above.
"Again completely wrong. They have been trying to commercialise everything they've done, hence why Budd was brought in to the company (check out his sales background). "
It's a good job he's sold millions of Covid testing kits worldwide during a pandemic, then isn't it Jimi. With his experience it was a doddle after all. Having someone there or a whole team does not mean thay are making an effort in selling a product, perfectly demonstrated by Budd being in the role for 4 years and delievering diddly squat.
Jimi is another clown that seems to have joined him pumping ethics lol. This is all about money, they need to donate to charity if they are that bothered by ethics. Or the rampers have run out of excuses and therefore trying to convince people to buy shares as GDR will be changing the world forever lol
"Genedrive are also not operating as a university research lab! Lol"
Jimi you really are a clown aren't you lol. I didn't say they are operating IN a university research lab, so not sure why you are giving me the description of the building. I said Genedrive are operating AS a university research lab, do you understand the difference in vocabulary lol??
They are operating AS a university research lab as they research and develop products, however there is never any re effort to commercialise it and they move onto the next R&D project with a fresh grant to fund it. Sound familiar??
"Sorry Dave but that is nonsense, it is a monumentally big problem for those effected with permanant hearing loss from birth, and their family. Big pharmas often snap up smaller companies like Genedrive who develop these kind of break-through life changing pharma technologies."
Jimi what utter BS. No denying in the fact that this causes issues for those affected and their families, but my point is more about commercial not ethical aspect. I think alot of you ate mistaken and seem to think you have invested in some sort of charity than a commercial business. It is no different to people suffering life long complications or disability from operations that have gone wrong, it's part of life. The govt don't give a damn as we've seen with the Covid pandemic with all the dodgy deals. The problem is clearly not big enough for the NHS, hence it has been unaddressed and Genedrive have seen an opportunity for a research project. Just look at all the sophisticated technology in hospitals these days worth hundred of millions, so i'm pretty sure they woukd have developed their hearing test years ago if demand was big enough . Again reading the constant BS on here on ethics, i think some of you need to donate a charity because this isn't one. This is a Corporate business with corportate expenses!!!!!
" No hospital or medical facility will have the option to not use the AIHL test for fear of litigation. It's a no brainer"
What a load of utter toash as uzual from LTH. Any hospital or health trust can chose what they will and not use. They will not just buy any new tool that comes to the narket, unless there is significaNt demand or need for it. The fact that the enitre UK market is only worth £5m, tells you it's clearly not a big problem hence no other big diagnostics company has developed this product. Do you really think little old Genedrive has outdone the like of Abbot, Roche, BC lol. Genedrive is just operating as a University research lab where thet get funding for a project which keeps them all employed, create something tangible over the next few years, and move onto the next project. Rinse and repeat. Show us examples of the litigations you speak of?
What happened to your oversuscribed OO? Your agenda gets more and more desperate by the day.
Stars it would never have made a NCYT move, even if they had decent sales. The sentiment just isn't the for those type of moves on Covid stocks, that was only during the height of the pandemic on 2020. Look at NCYT sat on £90m but way off the £12 highs. I was expecting £2.50 here if BC delievered any material sales and both POC and EU were delievered in Q1 as communicated.
Stars, wow so you'ce been in the 7p days, yet still happy with the company performance? I guess your shares made you a fortune at £2, no wonder you're optimistic lol.
And stars seems to have joined LTH for the last few weeks, with his daily nonsense on the company potential. New ramper been recruited or one of the previous ones posting under a different ID. One bit of potential has gone wrong??? Are you sure? They have failed to sell anything in any country in the world, during a PANDEMIC!!! I wouldn't say one thing has wrong, would you?
Also LTH can you please share the research that "the govt need this hearing test" as you state? The enitire UK market is worth just £5m, which contradicts your point and suggests there isn't really a need or big market for this product. But you carry on ramping away for your bank account :)
And it's also clear now Oneknows, the Ukranian deal never existed anywhere, apart from Budd's imagination. One nasty piece of work.
Agree Oneknows, a totally useless and illogical observation from MIKODX. DB would never let the company fold even if he has to raise at 10p, let alone with £7.5m in the bank!!! Seems like MIK has changed to tune to another agenda.
For Calrity if the OO is not takem up it still leaves the company with £7.5m in the bank. Allowing for £1m to Launch the 2 products, still leaves them with £6.5m in the bank or 16 months runnibg cist at £400k per month. How the f*** can it fold??? If 16 months isn't enough to get any sales, then they might as well shut up.shop now.
Agree invest, seems like MikODX is another one now pushing the insane OO. Any reason?
It will nold fold if the OO is not taken up! They still get £6m from the placing, which os not pocket change. It gives them more than enough cash runway to Launch POC and AIHL and get some sales. If he can't fo it with £6m, thdn to be frank it won't ve any different with £10m!!!
Please show us what research indicates there is a high demand for a POC test??? As already indicated the focus is now on mass testing for which there are LFT's. PCR is too expensive which is one the reasons it is being phased out. No one is going to interested in a POC test, cost a wooping £30 a time. Organisations don't have unlimited funds and run on budgets.
Stars it's your lucky day. My post this morning has been confirmed by BBC just now, there is a shortage of lateral flow tests as demand is huge, as PCR is phased out. They didn't mentiin anything about needing POCs in a hurry :)

So he blocked you on Linkedin Jay, for simply asking a question? Obviously has something to hide, this stinks of scam/corruption all over once again.
Sally your calculations are wrong again. How do associate a £20m mcap with the full £5m AIHL sales? Mcap is based on earnings not sales, so you're calculation is assuming the cost of goods is zero to Genedrive!!! We already know they work on a 50% margin, so the actual earnings on £5m turn over is more like £2.5m which is still only half of GDR's c.£5m PA cash burn rate, and there still leaves them in a loss making position, and net earnings at 0!!!
Jimi of course you're never going to get a corruption free business, but shareholders are aware if this and don't really care as long as the company is delivering and their investment is appreciating on value. As you say they should have stopped their dodgy dealings months ago, after it was apparent they aren't selling and would struggle for cash in the near future. However the greedy mugs did not do this and instead come back to investors for more cash, and it does not seem they have any plans to slow down the cash burn anytime soon either. The 2 products they launch next month will be generating very modest profits no where near the cash burn, hence they will still be dependant on the cash in the bank to keeps thing going.
Jimi as i said there is some foul play going on behind the scenes. I suspect some of the "supplies and services" are being purchased via intermediate companies at inflated costs, where Budd and other BOD are silent partners. The rest of the staff on the company will be on moderate to average salaries, so does not account for the cash burn.
We have a Chief Commercial Officer that is nou doubt on a similar salary to Fowler, but has commercialed sweet FA during a pandemic. The whole BOD needs a clearout.
