Hi all,
I have had this share on my watchlist since 2010 and earmarked AMC to be a share to invest. However, I got locked-in in a couple of other shares and did not have the available funds to do so. I am now financially healthier and interested in getting on board, Therefore 2 questions to start:
1) I have watched Robin young presentation and interviews. Of course he seems a man of great knowledge but is he the great CEO needed to drive the company forward?
2) what would be your share price prediction for 2019 and mid to long terms?
All answer appreciated.
Hi PNE79,
I could not agree more. important as well to finish the week above 30p. Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things but I will go through the week-end in good spirit.
40/50p would be great before TE10 results. GSA will push us there if it comes before, 2019 will be our year hopefully.
Shall I help people with their French? :)
Nice rise early in the month when we know test results are only due in February (GSA could come before though).Even in the absence of news until then, I see the SP continue its progression with ups and down leading up to results.
Would be nice to be in the 40's before any sort of RNS. As for the ones waiting to get a better entry price before, it is risky strategy and may well be the case of missing the boat.
I am certainly not surprised to see the SP steadily rising the last few days. We were undervalued after the TE9 duster. I also expect the Share price to progress further in anticipation of the results to come (GSA and TE10 figures). Still no real downside at today's price but it will be firm news that brings us back towards a value previously seen here and more.
The higher we are when it comes the better.
DesertMocks.
Don''t you worry, the nurses are taking good care of me :)
Has to be some pessimism also on the BB, nothing is done yet, fingers crossed.
The e-mail replies from JP that have been posted today are a testimony to his communication ability to spread optimism.
I am not complaining and will be the first to cal him a hero if the company achieves success and a great LE.
PS: for me "great" is "£1+ but it could be a lot more. Anything below 40p would be a failure but it is a risky business and we are here by choice. Exciting times a head.
Hi Shpunken.
True that as much I would love to reach ££ level, we need to be cautious to what what we can realistically achieve. I would however think that we would be above 30p after the last RNS. Lets' not forget TE5 as an estimated value of 27p and we still have the whole license and SM. Regardless of TE10 final results, I cannot see JP selling for 30p but it my opinion .
Volume of trade is quite low. People ready to jump in are waiting to see if does get a bit lower for a better entry price, other PI's like me are on board and do not have the heart to trade.
Hi Neptunes,
Because they stated that it was not related if I remember correctly. Yes they they could change their mind but I doubt it. It is my opinion only, based on what I think they said before, that is all.
Shpunken,
TE11 is not related to TE10, so there is no need for them to wait for the test results on 10 to localise and start drilling 11.
April/May for TE11 would mean that results would be July or even august, I do not think the BOD will want to wait that long before completing the 3 wells campaign. I agree they should drill TE11, A duster will not do any good but if TE 10 is commercial, the downside will be minimum and will add more data for the next operator.
We are on, only positives albeit we have to wait for confirmation commercial viability and numbers, there can only be positive sentiment about this share. Nothing is guaranteed, but everything is moving in the right direction, reward can be extremely high or perhaps modest on the conservative side. At this level there is little downside (if any) in my opinion. Hope to see this rising slowly but steadily over the next 4 weeks. I would struggle to understand a retrace with what lies ahead.
Just read the RNS a second time as I was surprised of the modest rise (still not bad though )
Although it is great news and negative cannot be seen in it, the market is cautious, and as long as we do not have commercial flow rates confirmed, we will not see a massive uplift.
On expectation alone, and as we wait February announcement and potential news on GSA and TE11, further rises are still on the cards in my opinion.
A day to rejoice :)
I do not think the SP will drift from today'ss price . Quite the opposite in my opinion. When we had the rise to £1, there were long periods without news, but it did not stop substantial rises. Same could happen, I am not implying we will reach theses levels, but 27p is very low risk after todays RNS. All in my opinion.
Agreed Sundaysun. That is why a steady rise should follow in the coming days in my opinion. The problem is that a lot got scared on TE9 and do not forget we were 11p 2 weeks ago. the is 150% rise.
Funny to be at around 27p today, That is the value of Te5 alone.
I allow myself to think that are not yet priced in: TE10, the Tendara field as a whole and SM.
Correct me if I am wrong
I am happy to see that long term holders like myself are seeing the end of Sound energy darkest period. (JP era).
Shame we were not higher before today's RNS but we should see a steady rise in the coming days if not more?
Excellent news
I do not know at what level the markets will value us now,, but it certainly ends our long suffering in the last couple of months.
Hi Sreadman,
For sure if that happens we would have an attractive and highly valued asset.
People will dream of that and myself included. But we are where we are and so far apart from TE 5, we have nothing confirmed. Commercial gas is not yet achieved at TE10 and TE11 does not have a drill location.
Do not get me wrong, TE10 could come in with good numbers and TE11 a success and I sincerley hope it is the case.
I was a bit demoralised by the fall after TE9 and I reviewed my expectation to a smaller target not to be disappointed.
Yes Shpunken, I agree with you that IF commercial gas is confirmed at TE10, 50p would be a realistic short term target.
As for the value it adds to the license and the reflected share price, who knows, 2 major factors out of our hands will determine that:
1) the commercial amount of gas at TE10 IF any
2) The price that a major is prepared to pay for the licence and its potential. It might not be the figure we are dreaming but with more gas found,I do not see many of us loosing money (well hopefully)
