Thank-you, I know Graham is adamant it is an error, hopefully the court will accept the tax authorities made a mistake. I am always worried of court verdicts when money and state organisms are involved. Fingers crossed.

Agreed, let me rephrase, I did not mean that the previous management had to apologise for the failure of the drilling campaign. I knew the risks and accept the consequences, I meant apologies for the mess they left behind, (tax issue, over hyped expectations...)
But lets not dwell on the past and embrace the future.

Very true. I always found odd that TE-11 never got mentioned after they decided not to drill it. It was due to financial difficulties and drastic fall of the SP at the time but if it was a potential "high risk high reward" target then, it must be one still. Really, I will never stop to be amazed that the people in charge back then never admitted publicly that they failed the investors and apologised. TE-11 future would be a question to ask Graham in a Q&A.

Yes PNE79, fully agree that the ongoing business (farm out and FID) and the tax issues need to be ironed out before the run up to the 3 wells campaign.
Speaking of a 3 wells campaign, it reminds me of something. TE-9, TE-10 and TE-11 anyone? Not so happy memory given the first two were failures and the third never happened. High risk high reward Parson said. These offer better chance of success though. TE-4 has reasonable COS, if not, surely SBK -1 will be a hit? how many times can you be unlucky. As for M-5 with a 21% COS, I am not banking on it, Funnily, it might the one that comes with the goods.

Holder for he long term with 450 average, I would love to reach that level as soon as possible. I hope the results are good enough for the share price not to retrace below whatever level it will be comes February. I am modestly expecting the share price to be 350 POST results which will give a good platform for a rise throughout the year. End of year 400 and 450 to 500 at the same date next year.

How long will it take to resolve it? Who knows, The Moroccan administration has been built on the French model, which means it is slow with countless ways of appeal and a multilayers of services. It has dragged for long enough, I would guess it will result on a compromise for both parties. How the market will react and how much it will cost remains to be seen.

Based on that article, you would think the court will somehow drop the case and allow SOU amongst others to deliver local gas to the country as soon as possible. However, I fear another delay on the decision, not least because the tax organism will want to keep a straight face. Regardless of SOU, the gas in on their soil, the future of the company is not to preoccupy them. Lets hop that Graham has been able to negotiate behind the scene in order for everyone to come out of this unscarred. We lost 1p on the share price the days after the tax issue was raised and halted the SP recovery back then. Once and if it is resolved (as I hope relatively positively), I expect the SP to instantly go into the 2's and test the 3's.

Future looks promising again, alas my average of 30p seems a long way off, I did not have the funds or did not want to risk anymore of them to average down, so, hopefully we will see a steady rise over the coming couple of years. My target was/is 50p.

Yes Graham sounds confident:

It depends what he intends by "real value for our investors". I am looking for 50p, that would be real value for me. If the plan is to have a 10p share, given some people's averages on here, there is no point.

I was reading the chat and it seems that James Parsons is mentioned on several occasions as being a negative influence on the company's perceptions and confidence of potential investors.
As a Sound energy holder (and Coro as a consequence) I am not in disagreement with those statements. However, there is no tangible proof that it is the case. If this is the case, and there is not doubt Parsons reputation has been tarnished, then I suppose he will take his responsibilities. Lastly, I believe if Sound Energy's Share price recover, and issues left by Parsons are resolved, the negative sentiment regarding his competence will be partly removed. Just a thought I wanted to share.
I hope for the better, specially for Sound Energy, I hold no grudges.

yes sreadman, I have the same average as you (30p). Long wait indeed if ever. The sensible thing would have been to average down, but when you are sat with a heavy loss, it is hard to commit even more money to a weakened company. Still hope though

We are approaching an RNS of some sort in my opinion. I would welcome an update on the Bondholders deal renegotiations.

Like you, I have invested a significant of money in Sound. Although it was my decision to hold, I really was under the impression we were underpinned at 25/30p (my average), hence I held all the way down from 90p+ to 50p, then to 30p, then to 10p, and to now where there is no point selling.
My sentiment is that if we were so dramatically overvalued at some point, I have the same sentiment we are undervalued now. My hope is that we will see a recovery somewhere between 1p and 90p in the next couple of years.
We investors may nurse paper losses at he moment, others have lost their credibility. The future of Sound might restore some of it for both.

It is true we are unlikely to see 50-80p anytime soon. I however would never rule it out, this is AIM after all. We were at 100p not so long ago and tipped by some to worth multiple of that. Although this was just a dream based on false and speculative information, the market gets sometimes over excited. Do not get me wrong, I don't think we will see any of those number in the 12 to 18 months. I am just hoping for a steady recovery to a reasonable valuation of both our proven gas and exploration upside. providing all goes well in the next 3 month, I would love to see us closer to the 10p mark and we will see from there.
Ericnat17, I hope we keep the company in our hands. A farm out would also be good with a dividend attached to it, at least it would reward long term holders and help us recover some money over time.

I would rather SOU to carry on and not be sold for 6p per share. I prefer having to wait a couple of years and see the share price way north of that.
Of course there is not guarantee of that to happen but my average being much higher,, I will hold, no matter what.

Big bench, I agree the bond holders issue needs to be sorted and wonder weather the tax issue was the reason some did not vote fin favour of the proposed resolution.
With this agreement, perhaps the doubtful ( as it cannot be many because we reached the majority of the votes at the meeting) would likely vote in favour now.
I expect an RNS soon detailing how GL will get this issue resolved.
The tax issue will be discussed behind closed doors and a deal will likely be stroke in my opinion, probably the company will have to pay some of it with a payment plan implemented
