What is everybody's expectations re the dividend this year?
I badly overestimated it for 2023, so not sure what to expect this time. With all the cash they will have, I hope its not another damp squib.

Merry Christmas and a decent 2024 to all investors here:-

Dave.
A chap on the ADVFN site said he saw a company link stating it was 24th January. I can't see anything (it's just blank under upcoming), so I wonder if he's seen the 2023 date posted below that... this figures, as it would be a Wednesday in 2024 and they don't usually issue on that day. Que sera.
I was hoping it might come earlier if they have a record November under their belts. Followed by a powerful dividend statement of intent. I'm not quite sure what that is, as I thought last time 10p was easily achievable and we got 3p twice!
Hopefully, a clear picture for 2024 to put an end to the range this is in, which as you both say, is not fair value.
Just like to say thanks to you both plus NG & IPC for some excellent research and analysis that you shared with us on here. Much appreciated and best wishes to you and yours for Christmas and the New Year.
Dave.
All I can think of is that they have long memories of 2018 when it got pummeled after the CFO scandal and they haven't forgiven the company despite the fact it is a completely different animal today.
That's why I feel they could have put something out earlier to settle it, once and for all. Record November and all that. The market also plays on their reliable comms dates - they should mix it up if they are as frustrated as us!
No, they have already stated it will be January as per usual (IR were contacted and confirmed this).
I'm hoping it comes in the first half though rather than their customary last Tuesday/Thursday offering. Bearing in mind that it was stated by a company employee that November was a record month (when previous months were also record breaking).
This caused a feeling of maybe another TU earlier as the results were again even greater than revised expectations. I think they have missed a trick - just MHO.
I'll forgive them though if it's to do with getting a satisfactory 'progressive' dividend policy in place :¬)
Good buying opportunity when the dividend arrives tomorrow.
Have to agree - why can't they sow some Xmas cheer, instead of resolutely sticking to the end of January. They must know most of the data and it just gets traded off every time.
Hey-ho.
No - because they pay Hardman for 'research' who have stated probably by end of November, which they then do not do!
Priceless, and shows just how low down the pecking order PI's are now that our money has been well and truly absorbed.
I could also add in another caveat for thought and that is that they are not as good as predicted.
Saint Peter would have chuffed off from here by now.
For anyone interested who hasn't yet seen :-

Yes, saw that myself this week, Jim.
Very encouraging rising trend in a very difficult area which is encouraging as people I know with ID/A have never heard of it, sadly. I told them to hassle their GP for it as it is the best treatment by a country mile!
Would like to see October's figure in the near future before Xmas with luck.

That keeps being said.
BUT, AOP are in at a fairly high average IMHO and they have stuck around through thick and thin.
They are not going to give it away now for anything under premium, especially when the tide is turning, at last.
By premium I mean under 50p and even that is laughable after the hard yards endured.
Well, having read that, I'd hardly say it was a 'respected broker giving a sell recommendation'. Rather a taking of profits by an II.
Investors take profits all the time. It must have been a significant holding as it was Wednesday when the price fell dramatically. Lots of other malarkey here and on the other board from characters who only comment on down days. One, in particular should maybe consider a change of name to perhaps Yoghurtman....
