RE: MAFL19 Apr 2018 19:31
I like to stick to around 30 percent gain, and I normally invest half decent sized chunks, ten grands worth to make it worth while. Waiting for peaks is pure luck, but buying in low and making 20 or 30 percent is relatively easy. I only made 70k on mafl to date because I threw 50k at it. I don't care about 'multibaggers', if it does it, it does. More often it doesn't, multibags only really happen out of the blue when no one is in position and it's a surprise. That's why I've never understood rampers, what they think they are doing is counterproductive. If you want a share to fly, people need to be buying in late to the party at a premium, not tell everyone to buy in in advance. Like this share, you've got rampers locked in high say 20p, still telling people to buy in now at 5. All you're doing is getting a load of people in cheap, who would sell at 10 for instance, and forever suppress the price. People who get in at a low price normally invest larger chunks, so likewise when they sell, it disrupts the price more.
