Yeah definitely looks to be heading south short term. Not sure what if anything merits the big sell off though.
Was expecting a bounce after yesterday's update but seems to be heading south again. Anyone got any thoughts?
Long way still to run on this one and so many factors at play . Takeda board should be jumping though hoops just now to convince shareholders of value but very little noise so far . If it wasnt for the weakness in the yen the deal could already be dead . Not sure if shire have put in any clauses if total value of deal falls below certain levels.
Im more interested in what way takeda sp is going to go , that'll determine everything . Massive sell required by Weber.
Is anyone planning on holding longterm ??
Fingers crossed it gets another bidder involved . Reason im not overly keen on takeda is I feel the price is too cheap and over a few yrs the true value will be shown . The investment was longterm for myself but I appreciate thats not everyone's game . gl
If a bigger buyer doesnt surface it wont be for the lack of shire trying to find one imo .
I think its a bad deal for both parties and so do the Japanese investors . If the price continues to fall overnight in Japan it could be over before it started imo .
Gsk has ruled itself out of any future bid
Gonna go negative.
Sounds like takeda are worried about a rival bid then ;))))) .
After last weeks fireworks today was a non event . One way or another things are gonna heat up though, I have no gut instinct of whats gonna happen but im still leaning towards a new party declaring there hand.
Reports now saying the offer being tabled could be over £47
Been a crazy few days . Not seen any statement from shp yet
Last roll of the dice by takeda surely , how many bids they planning on making??? The only thing that worries me is that shp are still encouraging an offer , whats the point in more talks if the bod feel the offer is way below there own val ?? Unless there using takeda - just thinking out loud
Thats my exact feelings . Cant see the offer being accepted.
£21 cash reported , getting my info from bloom
Bid upped to 47
Still dont see any deal with takeda being agreed but they seem to be hell bent on pushing it through. Ill still be surprised though if another contender doesnt appear - imo
