BMR recently released its accounts from 2019 (not sure why the delay), but on the front pages it discusses kabwe and how JLP have taken over and they still intend to use 3rd party zinc rich ore to mix with their own and clean up the site. Yes the accounts are from 2019 but the rest of the document is recent. The 3rd part rich ore is obviously starzinc. So we have have our pick still of where to send it.....JLP (my preference) or another buyer organised by ZopCo. I'm sure once the liscence lands ZopCo will find it very easy to get a buyer for the on average 20% zinc rich ore, possibly next door in zimbabwe

Almost predictable. Mm's walk the price down as much as they can accumulate shares, then whack a very generous 3% spread on to encourage buying

I can't either, especially when he is directly addressing his share holders, of whom prop up the company until starzinc is up and running

Not a bad time to top up Lime, here is a quote from Colin Bird himself on the update released 24th December 2020

"Our Star Zinc Project in Zambia has been fully evaluated
and is now ready to commence production as a small
mining operation. Whilst small, the zinc, silver and
germanium metal content make the project a very valuable,
potentially 5-year duration, cash flow supplier. The willemite
ore occurs from surface to just 60m depth, making open pit
mining a relatively simple operation. We are currently
finalising our plans to bring this project into production
during the first quarter of 2021"

I wouldn't worry Lime, it happens quite often and has little impact if any on the sp. Its happened to me alot, its just the algorithm of how they work it out. If there was a small spread and a fast moving price, it often comes up wrong. With regard to the SP its just MM games.

You hit the nail on the head Castiron and HD. Soon to be a self funded minor and in the mean time enough funds raised already to get us there. This in turn safegaurds the re rate upwards as current and new investors can have a degree of conifidnece that the SP wont drop due to any major finance building excercises

Also my favourite part of the whole report on page 20 section 2

"The Group has sufficient financial resources to enable it
to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable
future, to continue the current development programme
and meet its liabilities as they fall due. Since the year end
up to the date of this report the Group raised c. £1 million
before expenses and the Company has no external debt or
overdrafts. The directors have further reviewed the Group’s
cash flow forecast, and in light of this review and the
financial position at the date of this report, they are satisfied
that the Company and Group have access to adequate
resources to continue in operational existence for the
foreseeable future. The directors have also satisfied
themselves that the Group has adequate measures in place
to monitor and manage the risks that the COVID-19
pandemic poses"

the only doubt i had was how long was our money going to last. and the above statement adresses it perfectly. from the 24th December last year we have sufficient funds to last for the forseeable future, which is fantastic news

Considering the liscence unlocks over £60m minimum I think an mcap of up to half that on anticipating isn't too out of grasp. 2.5p is withing reach. Especialmy when we can see the outline of the liscence on the zambia mining cadastre map ready for final approval

IMO its you are correct Castiron, as the Zn price rises the revenue we get for our Zn containing rock rises, and of course the silver that isnt calculated thus far but will certainly make a welcome addition (400 000 tons of rock at 2% silver isnt to be sniffed at)

L2 - $60m in Zinc at a rate of $12m a year plus exra revenue for the Silver content - providing we send the zinc to Sable refinery up the road in Kabwe, Zambia

If we sell to another company organised by ZOPCO then it is un known the predicted revenue, but starzinc Contains an estimated 72000 tons of Zinc. so it will be a share of the revenue from that

MM's starting us off with a very genourous 6% spread also, its usually double that.

I was just saying the CB is good at running companies, GLR, xtr, jlp and others. He is on the board at JLP and when I learned of it (when I joined GLR at 0.68p), they were at 3.5p. They are now over 13p. So he has helped trebble bagged them, and bagged GLR and XTR in 12 months :-)

Congratulations on your bag Phoenix, I remember you accumulating a while back (I won't say where as I don't discuss others financials openly), called it right as we haven't seen those lows again since.
Its easy to see why you've made the exception, we are sitting so well with our assets for the predicted "battery boom" coming up.
JLP have gone strength to strength this last 12 months. When I bought in GLR they were around 3.5p if I remember rightly, xtr were around 0.7. CB certainly knows how to build a company and long may it continue for us.

I have been active on this bb from about April and I personally think its one of the best boards iv been a part of. Its been good to see some new investors come along and follow the same trend of sharing and helping eachother. Always DYOR, but it helps be given links and starting points from others. You get the odd person popping up trying to un settle things but it sticks out like a sore thumb as usually any point given by the regular posters is backed up with evidence or research (or have contributed as such in the past so hold some credit in their opinion), the posters on a down day usually just make a statement based on nothing and nothing to back it up.....ever. Its been a bumpy ride, but well done for sticking it out this year and for those new comers, congratulations on the recent rise, I'm glad to see the re rate we have all been waiting for. It will be nice to see a blue finish and we can celebrate a fantastic year of this share and look forward to a better year next year for this stock and for our progress at fighting the pandemic. I just got 1.775 on II for £2.5k, went straight through as well, it usually sits at pending for a while, that with a generous 6.25% spread makes me think the MM's are letting this go
