That combined with my own theory that they would not allow a liscence from any other person to be applied for i.e the artisan liscence .....over the top of our large scale exploration liscence.

If that were the case the little artisan man would be robbing our commodities we have been looking for in the exploration liscence

Sorry I can't see that now. Starzinc is a very small area 150m x 100m and only needs rudimentary processes to mine it. The pit will eventually only be 12m deep.

I don't know enough about the mechanics of what constitutes what type of liscemce but if its artisanal (if thats a word) then so be it. The cadatre shows an application for the area exactly where SZ is

It is a family tree of GLR and its subsidiary companies. Now this is where my cr*p explanation comes in as its been a good 12 months since I looked into it. The reason of the name is the applicant a Zambian is a rule relating to a foreign company can't apply direct for a mining liscence in zambia. (This may be the case for other countries too). The way companies get around this is by owning a local company who is the interface

It took mew a while to come across it, but on the key in the bottom left of the screen there is an option that is un ticked called "applications". If you tick that you can see when the application was put in end of September.
Having looked at the huge pdf document online about the rules of mining liscence application it takes 90 days.....which of course brings us to end of December.
Oiltap emailed CB and he was in zambia early to mid December meeting with the mining ministry and reporting back that "....they are happy...".
I can't remember where I read it, I think on the ministry of mines website that if there is a revision to the original application it takes up to a further 30 days ......which takes us to end of Jan.
CB must have had to go over to sort something out with the original application himself

The cadastre even gives you a name of the person in the Ministry of mines that the app is sat with. .......and no he doesn't have a Facebook profile haha

there is a statement in this document where CB states at the time of writing 24th December that they have access to enough funds to last for the forseeable future. i wrote it on a previous post.

this is one of the most important peoces of information to me as it means if for whatever reason the SZ liscece is delayed..........which all indications point towards it isnt by CB himself sayin ghte goverment are happy......BUT worst case we have enough money to cary on without the dreaded "P" word. whic of course gives me confidence in my current investement that the SP wont suddenly fall by a great amount, meaning i continue to top up when i can as "the train hasnt left yet" or the "boat hasnt been missed"

the current SP increase becasue we are waiting iminent news on 2 of our several assests..

Starzinc - calculated to earn us approx $60m over a period of 5 years if we seel the zinc containing rock to JLP who have a refinery 30 miles away from the asset. the small scale mining liscence was applied for last year and is due any day now. CB has referenced it several times and hinted to investors who have emailed him privately about fireworks in january. the money from starzinc will then self fund us to move on our other assets, so is the key really. JLP refinery will be ready for the zinc in Q3 this year, but requires 6 months material, so we need to get going ASAP in digging and making stock piles. JLP are contracted by the zambian government to clena up Kabwe dump so require high grade zinc ore to mix with their own to make it viable. so in that sence our little Starzinc is on a national spotlight. its the government who will be granting the liscence.

KCB - kalahari copper belt, some of the most lucrative copper contianing land in the world. we own over 14000sqkm in botswana, next to other very well established and successful majors in sandfire and cupric canyon. we have recently carried out a helicopter survey of a couple of our PL's thought to be the most valuable. we are awaiting the results. in terms of peer comparrison MOD resources 10 bagged over a period of 18 months from $0.03 to $0.3 before being bought out by sandfire so they could obtain its most lucrative asset T3........next door to our land.
(maybe your knowlege of progressing land to drilling for copper from XTR could be shared should you invest here)

we touched 2.1 not long ago before dropping ot 2p at the end of the day. then profit taking made us slowly recline to 1.65,1.75, befire buying brought us up again

This time we are holding 2.1, MMs trying to keep us here to see if people start profit taking again. when we dont, they have no choice but to allow it to go higher to try convince to do the same thing. this used to happen all the time between 1.05p and 0.75, until finally we broke through to 1.8

we are in a fantastic position with regards to copper. we are the largest land owning by PL company on the KCB at over 14000sqkm. we are perfectly placed with our PLs next to Sandfire and CCC, so chances are our land is just as lucrative. We have peer comparrison of MOD resources 10 bagging on the KCB in 2016 and closer to current date Kavango trebble bagging in the latter part of last year for JVing its PLS on the KSV.

what i find most interesting, is our PLS we recently aquired from Africibum which has to me so far flown under the radar with not much discussion about them. they have been test drilled already

and could be closer to proving the value contained withing them than our other PLs once we start.
