Why don't you simply "ignore" the posters who have the audacity to criticise the workings of Vlad and hemogenyx and just read HH contributions and reread your own postings aka "war and peace".

As you have stated,your views and everybody else's criticism have no bearing on any outcomes or decisions.What is the point of the board?,it's not a happy-clappy help group,can't/shouldn't be used to encourage or discourage investment.

It's not "out there already",it is at the start year long trial and will run alongside and retrospective sepsis cases to compare its efficacy against existing protocols.

It does look more user friendly and seems to primarily be a sepsis only detection device,both would give it an advantage in a POCT setting.

The CX300 is being designed as multi channel analyser which can still have a place.

From one sale to Nottingham university to a paraytec one billion buyout is a tad optimistic.

In my opinion Paraytec are too small to break into the marketplace and there is little need to wait for any significant sales on their part.

To establish an acute POCT setting for the CX3000 it will require some deep pockets with an established sales force in procurement contracting,there will be a need for aftersales/rental reagent+consumables,software and technical support and service requirements.The more global you go the bigger everything becomes.

One conundrum is that any prospective interested party is basically buying the IP of the technology,which has more than sepsis to its bow, but isn't/won't be required in a POCT setting.

So who buys it,for what reasons,and to where,to get full value and range from it?

TB talked of 70+ interested parties I paraytec in the covid days which materialised to nothing.

Paraytec could never market this effectively and am glad that selling is the idea going forward.

Phasefocus and Kirkstall both offer good products,but again progress is painfully slow.

The plan for it to go commercial is when the technology gains proven efficacy,followed by interested parties who can see where it can bring a benefit in application whilst overcoming the various hurdles required to be accepted by the regulatory bodies.

I suppose my scepticism comes from the fact you never find negatives in leadership,financial control,unachieved timelines and PR communication.

You question my zero substance,context and justification - most of which can be found in the share price.With revolutionary science in a much needed medical area,the share price languishes between values governed by traders.

If we were on the cusp of brilliance,there should be momementum,we should be beating investment and buyouts of with a stick - Alas we are not.

Let's face it Dr Cave isn't really a CEO.

He is a lecturer,and probably has bits of his lunch stuck in his beard most afternoons.

True,we still have a number of possible exciting products/applications in development,but we are still beholden to a CEO who, as good a good scientist he maybe,he is as bad a bad businessman.

With so much on the horizon (or just beyond!!) we sit below the last placing,way below the price Prevail paid and way way below the predictions of many.

The board talk/hope that the "sepsis screen" will revolutionise sepsis management.

I write as an investor rather than a trader where the following has no relevance.

When a patient presents with a possible sepsis or infection there is already many applications/algorithms available to help in a diagnosis.

Observations of heart rate,pulse,BP,O2 saturation and temperature.

Then there is blood gas analysis which will give pH,pCO2,pO2 and very likely lactate analysis giving indication of acidosis.

In addition to this there is further tests that can be carried out full blood count (especially white cells),crp,lactate,procalcitonin,blood cultures and swabs.

Paraytec,as of the last RNS,has an unproven,still in development method of detecting possible sepsis.Even if proved up,the use of the test will be in addition to all of the above and not a sweeping replacement.

Most disease is diagnosed using a jigsaw of information.

Better sepsis diagnosis is important but will never be confirmed using just the one parameter.In this day and age, deciding to treat/ not treat on that basis would be a litigation nightmare.

So,a silver bullet - no,but a useful tool - hopefully.

A long long way to go to gain a proven method with medical accreditation,and then you have to sell it into the marketplace.

Paraytec would not be able to compete,market,implement globally or in the internal markets that it so desires on any scalability, due to Paraytec size in the field.
