Morning all. Does anyone have thi slighest idea what is going on with this 8 per cent drop in a day? On the back of no RNS or bad rumours etc I just dont get it?2 or 3 weeks steady increasse wiped out in a day? Really frustrated with this at the moment, lack of news, direction, stratergy, coms etc. wtf are 5 or 600 employees doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning all. I dont comment much on this bb, but it seems to have degenerated quite a bit recently. All this poms this, poms that, massive this, novice the other. What does that enlighten us to the business that we are invested in, wishing sp goes up or down for whatever your investment slant is? Surely the point of a bb is to share your opinion and view, ok but without the primary school bickering and name calling. Life is too short believe me bickerers!! I am a Derby born and bred UK, but also worked and lived in Oz, and travelled around the world. Settled in |Ecuador, 4 kids etc, recent double heart attack, going through a terrible divorce, I have 5 court cases going on, lawyers bills, expenses etc so my point is life is what it is. Look for solutions , with hope and positivity!! Solg will come good! Not if, but when that is the question. Such is life!

Never forget that mining industry here is now about 4th biggest earner and contributor to GDP. Any goverment wether left, centre or right would commit financial harrikarri if did not support!

Evening all.

Have been layed up in bed for past few days a bit ill, but back up and running ok, to find this current situation.

Lasso perhaps didnt fancy his chances with the national assembly, so he has surely on the back of advice invoked the cruz muerte, cross of death, or mutual death( however you wish to interpret it). Basically means he will rule by decree until new elections can be arranged for both national assembly and presidency, I would guesstimate 5 to 6 months. As I understand his comments he would rather take his chances with the electorate than the disruption seeking Correist infested national assembly. Good decision, who knows? Risky? Yes. Best case scenario is re elected, worst case IMO is Correo backed opposition is elected ( maybe by proxy cos if Correo returns in person he himself will be arrested on previous corruption charges ! )Dont forget this is politics and also this is Ecuador. If you cant take the heat, get out of Ecuador kitchen and go cook in Oz or Canada etc.

Evening all. Bubble your recent posts about getting out in maybe a month got me thinking. I have been in this for 8 or 9 years, and I understand fully your fatigue and frustration but I think you have been here slightly longer than me? Do you really want to get out now? I am personally going to give this till end of year then see where we are hopefully post SR and AGM etc, then take a view. Feels like a lifetime roller coaster ride but no point in puking on last curve!! Perhaps take a deeper than normal breath with this one and re consider? Certainly not telling you what to do, just take a step back and reconsider the fundamentals.
