For me this is a great

result. Noboa is a fresh, young, forward looking person, now president. He has the opportunity to make an impact on this country. But reallisticly he has 18 months to do it before he is judged again! He and his family are business people and know the importance of investment. Some sort of statement on advancing Cascabel would be great, in whatever form that maybe! IMO a great night for Ecuador and hopefully all us long term sufferrers in Solgold

Just officially announced Noboa new president!! Great result IMO. Must say Gonzales gave a very gracious and speech full of humility in accepting defeat. Hopefully now solg can go forward!!

Now 80 per cent counted, 52 per cent for Noboa. Appears to be a lot quicker than normal the count.

Evening all. Generally people think final results will be announced in early hours here. At this moment with just over half counted its supposedly 53 to 47 in favor of Noboa. Hope that continues!

Evening all. Just my opionion but with upcoming elections I think either will be ok. BOTH PRO MINING AND WITH 18 months till next election they will both want a result at Cascabel. . Personally hope for Noboa cos alternative I believe is Correo stooge! Hope that doesnt happen! Anyway from a very batteted pi and person who was thinking of my retiremennt, now I am thinking of maybe my kids and now even my grandkids!!!!

I have spent over a month reviewing my pf, on the back of knowing I had some cash available at end of this month.

On the back of over 100 of my shares I came up with a shortlist of 5 which I would be happy at the moment to invest more in.

Just a bit of background silly info. About 10 years ago an Ozzy mate of mine who lives here hosted an executive of solg at his place.No idea who it was! He didnt charge him , so this person said if your not going to charge me at least let me give you a tip. Solgold. My mate commented this to me and that sparked my interest. Maybe his tip will come good, maybe not? Life is a gamble!
