Evening all. I sent the facebook post from mayor of Ibarra to a couple of friends to translate and it confirms my interpretation of it. It clearly states that the permit has passed from exploration to exploitation. Why would the mayor put that in the public domain if it wasnt true? My only reservation is why there wasnt an RNS today? Maybe SC has become Ecuadorian very quickly and manana will do? Maybe tuesday ? But if true a great piece of the jigsaw !! My contact at the council said this happened wednesday. She is solid and reliable, so why would she say it if it were not true?? She was actually the secretary of the very same mayor when he was in his first stint as mayor. Furthermore she is the mother of my first 2 kids !!

Evening all. I have a contact that works at the council in Ibarra. She has just sent me the facebook page of the mayor of Imbabura from 2 days ago which appears to say mayor has signed deal with solgold from exploration to exploitation permit. Trying to get confirmed. If so its the first Ive heard of it, or have I missed something?? Has this been announced?? Can anyone confirm or disconfirm??

Morning all. Not solgold related so forgive me. I am absolutely amazed at how my homeland England has changed in 20 years! I had heard of a minister of common sense, but thought it was a joke! Is that real? Toilets for kids separate from boys and girls because they dont know what sex they are? A comment from a contributor to a political party that an mp makes him want to hate black women and she should be shot!! Wtf is happening in my beloved England!!

Morning all. I am no expert in the share business and how it functions. I am just going to ask a really niaeve question to anyone who has more knowledge of this than me.. When I read of the sp being manipulated , surpressed etc is that possible? Who can do that, and why? I apologise for such a basic question and I am sure its complex but I am always trying to learn things that I dont understand..Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Evening all.. NAL I know you like to bang on about supposed facts, but when you state something as fact and it is not I feel obliged to correct you. When you state Ecuador has a national curfew that is incorrect. Perhaps you didnt understand my post of a few weeks ago explaining this? Each canton is risk assessed and assigned a curfew level according to percieved risk, high , medium or low. The majority of cantons at the moment are low risk , which actually means no curfew whatsoever!! But hey what do I know according to you I dont even live here!!

Morning all. When I invested in this I invested in an exploration co, with the most tenements in Ecuador and I understood the idea was to explore, find and sell or jv and move on to the next 10 and do the same, creating value for shareholders and the sp etc. Unexplored Ecuador but with the same geoligical Andean mountain range??

10 years on and I am so tired of it and the stress and the sp on its knees!! Does anyone think we will ever go back to my original reasons for investing

Last I saw was about 20 percent of all provinces have mid to high risk assessments now in place. By my reckoning that means 80 percent have no curfew !
