Morning all. I had shares in Cornerstone which supposedely were to be converted to Solg as part of the merger. As of now that hasnt happened and my Cornerstone shares have dissappeared from my PF !? Is anyone else in same, similar situation? Whats happening? Appreciate in anticipation.

Evening all. Bozi, there is a good website called CuencaHighLife which has good articles. The latest reports that the president of the commision for impeachment will present the report friday or saturday, but he believes it shows no strong evidence for impeachment. IMO it is Correists in collusion with the indigeonous parties seeking to disrupt and destabalise(quite common in Ecuadorian politics). I am a Lasso supporter so forgive my bias, but lets hope the report clears Lasso of accusations, he continues as president and even gets reelected! The only thing I can safely say after having experienced the politics and the legal system here for 20 years, ANYTHING is possible!

Evening all. Just asking, does anybody have a direct contact with somebody who is still at the company, in particular at Cascabel.. I am so frustrated I have tried 5 or 6 times recently via their website and asked for dates of any possible open days or possibility for a tour and info on Cascabel, as a significant holder firstly and secondly out of curiosity. Perhaps I was too direct, but still 6 tries to contact and nothing is abysmall !! Terrible PR !! There have been so many changes of personell in the last year I dont know who is still there or who to try and contact again! I asked what were the remaining 5 or 600 employees doing so maybe rubbed them up the wrong way! But my question is does anyone have a good contact that would be willing to give me a tour and answer a few questions? GLA DK

Afternoon all.
Just fyi, local press confirming Codelco mine in Intag, which is in Imbabura, has had licence revoked.
Although initially a bit worrying, heres a few facts to mull over.
Licence was granted under Correos watch, and knowingly unlawful as proper legal consultation was not done with locals, so perhaps they deserve it? Also Correo infamous for backhanders!!
As far as I am aware Solgold is not in the same situation?
Although Intag is in same province it is about two and a half hours south of cascabel and completely different landscape, very beautiful, river, mountains, flora and fauna, and full wildlife. Cascabel is almost none of those.
Anyway just info
