brokenovice.com - I don't get the point of your post. it's strange.

TA is useful for trading bands (resistance support etc) on shares with no news due/arrived.

TA is really only useful in my exp when trading FTSE100 companies, maybe 250, and I'm looking to, say SB Barc from 114-118.

It's not useful on shares like this imo.

Holding above 225 into close is, in my opinion, very bullish and signals a good week here next week, markets permitting!

I don't think a sell-off into close was going to happen - just derampers chatting sh**. For every nervous nelly wanting out, there's a shorter not wanting to hold the position over the weekend.

I wouldn't keep short open over weekend. Might see little rise into last hour.

RBL - yeah under 300 is, I THINK, like printing money if you can wait out a year or so.

c264 thanks for the input. In my experience, most rises like this lose 50% in the next session or 2. So I'd expect to be able to get back in Mon/Tues at 53/54 worst case scenario but I'll hold out for 50p to get back in at the price I sold.

There may be news next week, it may continue to rise. If it does, I'll just swallow missing out.

people might buy before the weekend - good news from the board is more likely than more bad news imo

you'll also have some nervous investors who want to get out of their investment at a good price.

when those people have cleared, next leg up.

it'll go back over 240 today. guaranteed.

I think we'll hit 255 but close at 248.

I have about £50k in pension at avg of 290 built over last few weeks.

I think at these levels it's an absolute no-brainer. it's not glamorous but it's a winner I think.
