NM is a second rate ceo and that's why the sp is floundering and will continue to do so. He needs removing and replacing with a deal-maker.

jmc- for what it's worth I really don't like buying anything at the opening bell - it's never done me any favours.

if it's down, wait half an hour to see if goes lower. if it's up you'll probably get spiked.

I like waiting to see. or set yourself a target you're happy with (245/255/260? ) and just hold out for it?

for anyone at all interested in my opinion, I'm getting the feeling that hedge funds are becoming more bullish on equities and I think we may see a move in general markets next week onwards... I've gone 40% cash to 28% today.... bought up quite a lot (more IMM, more BOO, small LAM, more SOLG, SBRY) risky though. Still hoping for low 50s here.....
