I think this is the kind of share which will grow steadily upward with some retraces.

think it's ready to make its move toward 30 and then anything above that will depend on news.

looking at chart I don't think there's much to stop this hitting 30 but it depends on continued support for gold/copper.

I think markets are ready to fleece retail and leave them bag holding with a big old drop again ready for the whales to get back in. this will see gold even higher.

copper though may come off so who knows.

this is a good bet for 6-12 months but, to be honest, I wouldn't watch the sp particularly closely.

Bristol - me too - sold all my trading shares today. think it'll hit 250 again where I will buy back in. I think its the best risk/reward play I know of. solg is good too though....

3300 - that's a bit harsh! I bought solg at 20.5 2 weeks ago and today it's hit 26 so that's a pretty quick 20/25% profit.... not sure what more you could have asked of me.

and my BOO is doing very well thanks. took off trading shares today at avg of 264 from an avg of 221 so, again, a pretty today profit.

have about 50k boo shares left in pension which I will just let ride out back to £4+. closed out Ted (tiny profit) and AA (tiny profit) today to free up cash for AML top up today at 48ish.

will look to sell 1/3 AML tomorrow on any spike if it comes....always sell into a spike.

Think i've plugged this one before but if you can get in SOLG at 23/24p, do it.

Huge upside there as is likely to get taken out by bigger fish.

I actually would rather be more into this - position could be larger but I don't want to buy over 24p. Stubborn like that.

May get a retrace and get another bite at 23 at some point but not sure.

Novice - no being serious. This is a great investment. I have this in pension from 20p - 23p. Only about £35k but hoping to turn it into £100kish.

It's never 'the last chance' for anything really. Shares usually give up big chunks of their gains even on good news. No straight lines etc. etc. blah blah.

The key to investing AND trading is patience and discipline. I reallllllyyyyy struggle with patience. I'd be a very wealthy man if I could learn to hold on longer. :(

Dunnieboy - I am not Warren Buffet but I have been in and around financial markets at quite a high level for quite a while. I know it's just my view and you don't know me but, trust me, WG is full of rubbish and does not know his way around markets.

I think he is someone who has genuine issues and should probably be removed from these boards for his own good to be honest.

trading/investing is about one thing and one thing only - making money, as much as you can.

I think a lot of people forget that on these boards and become wedded to the idea of a share or super emotional about the sp. but its just about money!

if you think you can wait to buy cheaper, and get it right, why not do it?

if you can sell if you think it's hit a spike and then retrace, y not do it?

if there are other shares around that are due to go boom - why not sell out here and buy back with your profits?

but if you're not confident doing any of those things, just buy and hold but don't blame others for doing them.

and it absolutely does not matter what I think about the dbx - I'm sure it'll sell loads.

there was always something gauche or nouveau riche about sports car 4x4s but I think AM's version will feel different to the market and may snap up part of the range rover market share.

all I'm saying is that the market is looking choppy and I feel as though ftse may go sub 6000. if it does.... no share is safe right?

but if you believe in this share, just see it as a massive buying opp.

think we see dodgy couple of days wider markets and I'm now looking for 46 entry here. sorry to be negative but it's getting choppy out there.

might take a bigger position than had planned but trying to get lower entry here.

threatening to break 6000 but will probably bounce soon and we'll see move back up.

but covid is still spooking the market.

doubt we see 230 here unless ftse goes 59/5800 but that's a possibility.
