TBH I think 1050 looks likely as the Carillion\capita troubles are having a major bearing on sentiment - more than I thought it would and it seems to now be totally detached from other house builders (I appreciate the construction arm is dragging this down).Brokers remain positive with target around 1600 . I am looking forward to the update now .as this may be a catalyst for upward movement. GL

Problem here is that the entire utility sector is in a downward spiral. Best threat is that there will be a wind fall tax or nationalisation - market is spoked.

Peel issued a report on the sector. It suggested likily d4e swap butbsuggested they would not go out of business. Peel raised concerns about mitie as well.

Outsourcers will focus on strengthening their balance sheets more by reducing debt. I think dividends will be cut to achieve it. It is mad to work on wafer thin margins and large debt and still pay high dividends

Given carillion woes I think the div will be cut significantly.!it has a number of profit earnings and a new CEO so best time for him to deliver bad news. I can also see consolidation of the sector taking place in the future.
