Like others have said patience is the game here. We all knew they would tree shake. Also, in the next 25days we will know for 100% what the deal is and in the short term I am sure we will know more by end of next week. Like someone said the mcap and share price means jack, it's the asssets and the value of the company revenue etc that is where the real value lies.

I don't think shorts are taking positions to sell shares in order to suppress the share price.. I am not an expert but I don't think that's how it works. They are likely betting that the deal doesn't happen and this drops all the way to 20s . Anyone else who has more knowledge is welcomed to add to this?

I don't understand the logic of the short position at this stage? The fact that sidara want to aquire wood group proves that the business has huge value whether the deal goes through or not. What's more crazy is that by 2026 this could be back at well above 100p anyway. Then any bidder will have to pay even more. If I was the texts teachers fun I would get out of the short trade lol
